Is it Friday he’s due back in court?
Yep.
Of course he can and should if he refuses to obey the courts or pay the fines he owes!
The big and best thing about him in jail it starves mammy of media time and doesn’t give the family a platform in the public eye,
They'll look for other ways, e.g Simeon and now Jemima as well.
But not to the same level, as Enoch looks like a martyr for his religious beliefs and is a way of confusing the truth, the others are more about where their actions have got them in trouble like Simeon, put himself where nobody wants to take him for is actions and could bring it to their business,
Plus keeps the school and its staff and pupils out of the picture for however long Enoch chooses to stay in prison. I have wondered which of his family visits him in Mountjoy to keep his morale up.
EB is up for mention before Justice Cregan in Court #3 tomorrow at 11am.
For such smart kids they are rather equally stupid , the parents have them brainwashed, all pretty much unemployable at this early stage of their careers.
A lot of people with degrees coming out their ears would never have a degree in common sense!
This lot don't even have a group cert in common sense. Ask your parents if you don't know what a group cert is.
One of my mother's favourite little sayings was "An ounce of common sense is worth a pound of intelligence".
(in old money, lol!)
Enoch is staying in jail. The judge asked him ten times if he would withdraw his contempt. Enoch said he would stand by his belief in his lord Jesus Christ or words to that effect. Following members of his family talking from with the court, the judge also asked him if he was been guided by what others in the court were saying.
He must really like the food in the Joy.
Times must be getting tough trying to use a laptop to video him.

It's not the Judges job to be convincing him.
Once will do, the courts are busy.
Will you purge your contempt.
No.
Take him away. Next.
Anyway he can get a sitting any time he wants within reason to purge his contempt, they will make time for him, absolutely no need to keep bringing him back.
Maybe he gets on really well with his cellmate!!!!!
I hate to say it but they all look like a bunch of ghouls, stalking about, trying to impersonate humans in that clip. WTF was with the laptop filming?? Who does that??
During the hearing, Mr Burke’s mother, Martina, who was in court along with her husband, Sean, daughter, Ammi and son, Isaac, made several comments, leading the judge to ask Mr Burke if he was "being controlled by someone else".
She didn't like that 😂
"He granted an application by barrister, Rosemary Mallon, for the school, for her costs and he adjourned the matter to 20 December, telling Mr Burke: "I hope you have an opportunity to reconsider.""
Given that it's adjourned until just before Christmas, I hope this time they don't let him out for Christmas irrespective of the fact the school is not open. At this stage, he's in jail for not purging his contempt of court and he's already demonstrated he will do the exact same thing again once the school is open. No more leeway or good graces.
They didn't let him out last Christmas, so probably won't again this year.
Judge Nolan said it was clear to him that Mr Burke had no intention of abiding by the court order. He said in those circumstances, "with great reluctance", he had to send him back to prison. He granted an application by barrister, Rosemary Mallon, for the school, for her costs and he adjourned the matter to 20 December, telling Mr Burke: "I hope you have an opportunity to reconsider."

Ah, that must have been only the year before. Man you'd forget how long this sh*t has been going on for…
If the judge granted costs, who pays them?
Enoch, But at the last court case it came out that they haven't asked anyone to collect any money from Enoch yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if his salery is being withdrawn and leaving him at €0 every month. You can't take anything if someone doesn't own anything.
So who would currently be out of pocket? The legal teams? Or the school?
The school are on the hook because they employ the legal team.
Whether Enoch pays or not the Barrister gets paid.
Is he still being fined 700 a day?
I've a sneaky suspicion that the laptop might be used because it's something that you could have out in the Courtroom without it being obvious that it was being used to record sound or video………
The feckers! If that’s the case.
From the IT article, Martina spectacularly failing to refute the allegation that the children are under the control of another 🙄
”“Why are you not listening to me, you are a highly intelligent man”, the judge said also asking “are you being controlled by somebody else”.
At that point, Mr Burke’s mother Martina shouted at the judge “Are you being controlled by somebody else” and then said “yes you are”.”
