I doubt the Kremlin will worry in the slightest.
Vlad and his mates will still have plenty of money.
400m euro from Netherlands for research and development of larger drones in Ukraine
a week after Ukrainians made it clear they have domestic capacity for millions of drones per year but are constrained by availability of funds
It's our contribution to the war effort, drain their assets with Dublin prices....
A traitor is only loyal to themselves.
It could be anyone, however it mentioned a link to Loyalists so it could be someone in FG who would rather closer links to Britain than the EU. FG afterall once traded as the Commonwealth party.
That head of central bank Elvira Nabiullina only a few months ago said that going above 17-18% rates would be disastrous for Russia
Here we are now and she is very silent eye that window in the corner with increasing anxiety
It’s not a good sign for Russia alright. The head of their version of a central bank has said that the sanctions are making things difficult for them. I really hope the US or Israel don’t decide to go after the Iran oil facilities like they are threatening. If they do, they will drive up oil prices which will help Russia tremendously. What we need is low oil prices so Russia will be without a large source of income.
I would Kevin Keegan luuuuvvvv it if they managed to hit one of his secret mansion estates. Love it.
Yeah I've been watching USD/RUB for a good while now - being a dictatorship with extraordinary monetary controls (and their central bank person actually being smart and not a lackey) dragged it back under the 100 mark and kept it there, I'll be curious to see if they can stop the drift this time. If it goes above 100 and stays above - things could get interesting
Is Russia Headed for Economic Ruin in 2025? Analyzing the Financial Fallout of Prolonged Warfare - Everyman Science

It's the bould Vlad's birthday today.
Hopefully Ukraine send him something nice to mark the occasion.
Dollar to Ruble price is currently at 96.25.
This is despite the fact Russia has continued to raise it's interests rates to attempt to tackle inflation. The current interest rate with the Russian Central Bank is 19%.
The government also ended their subsidised mortgages in June, so if someone comes along to Sberbank looking for a mortgage right now, they'll be tasked with interest rates of around 20%.
None of this will break Russia today or tomorrow. But if they can't stop this trend or make significant progress on the battlefield in the next couple of years they will collapse.
…..
The only reason to keep an embassy open here is to understand what they know, who and what they are targeting and why. If we don't, and we are letting them act with impunity then their staff should be reduced to the ambassador and an aide, that's it. Having said that, if it the Russians are at it over here then it's safe to say that everyone else is probably at it too.
Why we need such a large Russian embassy here when we have barely any business with Russia is a mystery
Oil terminal hit in Crimea.
He's always right on the button
Good news..Ex Dutch f16s active over ukraine... I know they are there for a while, but never heard the minister of defence stating they were flying regular sorties
if they cant stand over the story they shouldnt publish it…
Would this help explain why at least one of our sitting TDs has decided not to contest the next election?
I wonder which politicians were sympathetic to the unionist view of need for a hard border on the island?
In general, most, if not all politicians, were fully behind the irish government approach
Not technically broken the law according to the article so they'd likely have a legal upper hand. This would be a good use of Dail Privilege though IMHO.
Still in parliament suggests still in Dail; I can think of a few PBP and SF heads but not sure they would be privvy to Brexit secrets so must be a FG or FF member in my opinion
I'd take any odds on moscow mick or commie clare
spooks, spies, and espionage all work in the most curious of ways. A bit of give here and a bit of take there.
Et tou,Release to prodsky on Friday? 😄
” Russian intelligence viewed Cobalt as a useful, easily influenced figure to disrupt public debate and promote Kremlin interests during a critical political period.”
Oh there’s a whole bunch of these for sure
I'll take Michael D Higgins at 5/1.
why does the paper not name them? they say legal reasons but…. if they cant stand over it dont write the article
As I said ... my posting history is there to see ...Im not here to spoon feed you information you are able to look up on your own. I suggest you go back to February 2022. Long before you showed up on this thread
Does it really have to be one and only one?… Can't it be like 2 or 3?…
No. Self evident arguments require no explanation and to make such a request is evidence of you attempting to waste one's time. But go ahead, prove me wrong: provide this forum a bit of Russia criticism. Give us a few comments on what the current Moscow government is doing wrong. Just as you criticize Europeans and Americans, given that you are fair and balanced, surely you can criticize Russians, no?
