"Are you capable of having an adult discussion yes or no ?" Not with you... 🙄 I try not to engage in discussion with "useful idiots": such people do not have discussions; they have verbal combat that they intend to win by attrition and by any means necessary - including lying, deceiving and every other trick in the book that they have in common with Russian 'diplomacy'. It's very much like engaging in 'discussion' with communists - and several other kind of 'ists' - they are set in they ways and won't be argued out of their position - in fact they will use every trick in the book to avoid losing face for any reason. A far better use of one's time is to learn how to deprogram cultists. A skill that, if we're lucky, will be in high demand in Russia and China soon enough.
warned and 1 day forum ban applied
That's a very old reference! 😍
"Where (…) am I defending Russia?"
😀😃😄😁😆🤣
Warned and forum ban increased to 4 days
Actually to call it a drone is a bit of a misnomer. This is an "unmanned autonomous combat vehicle" utilising the same stealth technology as the newest Russian fighter the Su-57. This is a big scoop for NATO and is the equivalent of the Russians getting their hands on some of the stuff the Americans have flying around Area 51😉
He may not be compromised but he's greedy as f**k… no other politician in recent years even comes close to being the personification of corruption as he does. He's perfectly capable of selling your mother and then dismiss you as a loser for not acknowledging that he did you a favor.
Schools in Siberia are switching to remote learning for pupils due to pnuemonia outbreaks in some schools.
A dam bursted in the Altai region and washed away bridges. Authorities were warned not to bring attention to the situation.
Further on that twitter channel, a lorry went off a pontoon bridge that was only built in september. Driver not found. Presumed dead.
Could you perhaps articulate in a coherent manner how I am defending Russia ?... or link to a post where this happened ?
So, who do we think it is?
Synopsis of the article.
During the Brexit talks, Russian intelligence successfully recruited an Irish politician, codenamed “Cobalt,” through a honeytrap operation, aiming to exploit tensions between Britain, Ireland, and the EU. Despite being identified by Irish military and security services, Cobalt remains active in parliament and has yet to face legal consequences. Cobalt met with Sergey Prokopiev, a Russian spy, and allegedly offered to connect the Russians with Northern Ireland paramilitaries, furthering Moscow’s destabilization efforts. While no direct payments were made to Cobalt, his internet history and travel patterns were used for kompromat. Russian intelligence viewed Cobalt as a useful, easily influenced figure to disrupt public debate and promote Kremlin interests during a critical political period.
No. Self evident arguments require no explanation and to make such a request is evidence of you attempting to waste one's time. But go ahead, prove me wrong: provide this forum a bit of Russia criticism. Give us a few comments on what the current Moscow government is doing wrong. Just as you criticize Europeans and Americans, given that you are fair and balanced, surely you can criticize Russians, no?
Does it really have to be one and only one?… Can't it be like 2 or 3?…
As I said ... my posting history is there to see ...Im not here to spoon feed you information you are able to look up on your own. I suggest you go back to February 2022. Long before you showed up on this thread
why does the paper not name them? they say legal reasons but…. if they cant stand over it dont write the article
I'll take Michael D Higgins at 5/1.

” Russian intelligence viewed Cobalt as a useful, easily influenced figure to disrupt public debate and promote Kremlin interests during a critical political period.”
Oh there’s a whole bunch of these for sure
spooks, spies, and espionage all work in the most curious of ways. A bit of give here and a bit of take there.
I'd take any odds on moscow mick or commie clare
Still in parliament suggests still in Dail; I can think of a few PBP and SF heads but not sure they would be privvy to Brexit secrets so must be a FG or FF member in my opinion
Not technically broken the law according to the article so they'd likely have a legal upper hand. This would be a good use of Dail Privilege though IMHO.
I wonder which politicians were sympathetic to the unionist view of need for a hard border on the island?
In general, most, if not all politicians, were fully behind the irish government approach
Would this help explain why at least one of our sitting TDs has decided not to contest the next election?
if they cant stand over the story they shouldnt publish it…
Good news..Ex Dutch f16s active over ukraine... I know they are there for a while, but never heard the minister of defence stating they were flying regular sorties
He's always right on the button
Oil terminal hit in Crimea.
Why we need such a large Russian embassy here when we have barely any business with Russia is a mystery
The only reason to keep an embassy open here is to understand what they know, who and what they are targeting and why. If we don't, and we are letting them act with impunity then their staff should be reduced to the ambassador and an aide, that's it. Having said that, if it the Russians are at it over here then it's safe to say that everyone else is probably at it too.
…..
Dollar to Ruble price is currently at 96.25.
This is despite the fact Russia has continued to raise it's interests rates to attempt to tackle inflation. The current interest rate with the Russian Central Bank is 19%.
The government also ended their subsidised mortgages in June, so if someone comes along to Sberbank looking for a mortgage right now, they'll be tasked with interest rates of around 20%.
None of this will break Russia today or tomorrow. But if they can't stop this trend or make significant progress on the battlefield in the next couple of years they will collapse.
It's the bould Vlad's birthday today.
Hopefully Ukraine send him something nice to mark the occasion.
