same logic applies to Europe ;-)
Will need to be a substantial first strike so
Maybe that ammo dump was such a strike.

No way a drone took out that ammo dump, the sound of the missile alone shows this. I think Ukraine have the green light already to hit Russia with all they've got, but it's denied in public, as it should be. Keep denying, keep firing
The ammo depot was around 300 miles from Ukraine, what missile has the west given Ukraine that has that kind of range?
it seems the pilots started training in the uk last march, before moving to a site in the south west of france, it seems the first lot have finished training
Okay,,I don't follow news apps, channels etc, just look on boards each day,, blocked all that crap as distraction of notifications etc,,,I definitely saw on here it was 800km from Ukraine,,300miles seems to be the agreed number,, it's a good distance,, what's the update on the likely source of the attack,,drones,, it's a big distance,, missiles etc,I was baffled at that distance for 100 drones.
Finished training on a training jet, which is a precursor to F16 training. This seems to be separate to the Mirage jets/training?

Ukraine have demonstrated they have long, super long range drones and they also demonstrated a jet powered drone.
It could be that they need to send 100 drones to distract Russian AA while following it up with a few fast jet drones to have a successful attack.
….
Keep going and we won’t have to wait for the war after WW3 to see Russia fighting with sticks!
💪 Ukraine
This is a new depot ? Maybe Ukraine got the green light for long range strikes into russia ?
Darth has a good take on whole thing
I've never really understood why the West have admitted anything when it comes to supplying weapons to Ukraine. Supply and deny seems a more sensible mantra to me, but I'm sure they have their reasons for shouting this stuff from the rooftops...
Not really with this one... what did Ukraine use to strike the depots ?.
Is that the Ukrainian drone that crashed into Ivan's hay barn?
To me, that article reads like there are two different training pipelines at play here.
The one described in the article looks very much like it’s designed for completely new pilots. The UK aircraft mentioned are basic trainers to teach pilot candidates the basics of aircraft handling and navigation. It seems to me that this pipeline goes Basic Training (UK) → Advanced Training (Alpha Jet, France) → Operational Conversion to F-16 or Mirage 2000 (Romania & France)
On the other hand, there’s also a training regimen in place for experienced UkrAF pilots to transition directly from whatever their original aircraft was to the F-16. There was a video shared either very early in this thread or in its predecessor that showed this type of conversion training happening at Skydstrup air base in Denmark, where the Ukrainian pilots were able to directly compare the F-16 to their previous aircraft, in that case the MiG-29.
This seems to be another one
With all this equipment loss ability to replace becomes more and more challenging surely
Yeah different one. Lots of footage coming out now
Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling really ... 😎😎
These are obviously protected storage sites with air defence , on decent rail links ,ect . It likely takes a mass attack to destroy it .
But if Russians move the stuff out , to smaller depots the logistics are far worse, little air defense , probably non hardened bunkers, and Ukraine could probably hit them with single drones , you can bet that satellites are carefully watching large ammo depots to see if they're moving stuff out and to where ..
Homegrown Neptune rockets most likely
There are another 4 or so arsenals in range of those
They can if you pile loads of explosives and missiles on top of the bunkers , also ,there is some speculation that the bunkers may have been built substandard ( 😮😮) , and that they should have been covered with several feet of soil , and weren't .. .. but you take all of that with a pinch of salt ..
wouldn’t be like the Russians to do things half asses
… 1
Good point I never thought of. Only positive for the Russians with these two arsenal's destroyed, they can move all the air defence from these ones to the remaining making them harder to hit.
Russian's are a different breed. Massive ammo dump going off nearby. A missile or drone barely misses the civilian recording and he hardly flinches.
Has anyone heard anything more about the Swedish mini-awacs planes supposedly destined for Ukraine..
I think they'll be the big leveler , something will long endurance times , and a radar that outmatches the su-35s ,
Not sure if that can link to the mirages , but a small number of meteor missiles would freak out the russian air force , and push the su35s way back .. which allows the Ukrainians to operate closer to the front , while the su34 loose their top cover and leaves them vulnerable
Sooner the better ..

3 russian arsenals gone up in smoke in as many days. I haven't been this happy since the wave of Russian ammo dumps went boom around Crimea earlier in the war.
Many Ukrainian lives have been saved with these actions.
