To me, that article reads like there are two different training pipelines at play here.
The one described in the article looks very much like it’s designed for completely new pilots. The UK aircraft mentioned are basic trainers to teach pilot candidates the basics of aircraft handling and navigation. It seems to me that this pipeline goes Basic Training (UK) → Advanced Training (Alpha Jet, France) → Operational Conversion to F-16 or Mirage 2000 (Romania & France)
On the other hand, there’s also a training regimen in place for experienced UkrAF pilots to transition directly from whatever their original aircraft was to the F-16. There was a video shared either very early in this thread or in its predecessor that showed this type of conversion training happening at Skydstrup air base in Denmark, where the Ukrainian pilots were able to directly compare the F-16 to their previous aircraft, in that case the MiG-29.
Is that the Ukrainian drone that crashed into Ivan's hay barn?
Not really with this one... what did Ukraine use to strike the depots ?.
I've never really understood why the West have admitted anything when it comes to supplying weapons to Ukraine. Supply and deny seems a more sensible mantra to me, but I'm sure they have their reasons for shouting this stuff from the rooftops...
Darth has a good take on whole thing
This is a new depot ? Maybe Ukraine got the green light for long range strikes into russia ?
Keep going and we won’t have to wait for the war after WW3 to see Russia fighting with sticks!
💪 Ukraine
….
Ukraine have demonstrated they have long, super long range drones and they also demonstrated a jet powered drone.
It could be that they need to send 100 drones to distract Russian AA while following it up with a few fast jet drones to have a successful attack.
Finished training on a training jet, which is a precursor to F16 training. This seems to be separate to the Mirage jets/training?

Okay,,I don't follow news apps, channels etc, just look on boards each day,, blocked all that crap as distraction of notifications etc,,,I definitely saw on here it was 800km from Ukraine,,300miles seems to be the agreed number,, it's a good distance,, what's the update on the likely source of the attack,,drones,, it's a big distance,, missiles etc,I was baffled at that distance for 100 drones.
it seems the pilots started training in the uk last march, before moving to a site in the south west of france, it seems the first lot have finished training
The ammo depot was around 300 miles from Ukraine, what missile has the west given Ukraine that has that kind of range?
No way a drone took out that ammo dump, the sound of the missile alone shows this. I think Ukraine have the green light already to hit Russia with all they've got, but it's denied in public, as it should be. Keep denying, keep firing

Maybe that ammo dump was such a strike.
Will need to be a substantial first strike so
same logic applies to Europe ;-)
They have been in France since circa January…. part of it under the guise of pre-jet training for the F-16 program. But, a lot of aviation enthusiasts noticed training facilities used in Mirage/Rafale training ramping up over the last while (bigger than just basic training ops before jet type rating)…. that along with the deployment of Mirages to the Ukrainian/Belarus/Russian boarder patrols (they would usually send Rafale's)… painted the picture Mirages would be sent a some point.
If training has been following similar to the line of F-16 training, end of 2024 sounds about right for an accelerated program.
Theres an uptick in Ukrainian drone attacks for sure while seems most Russian drone waves gets stopped, and missile waves are farther apart, this is where “Russia is big” is a problem for Russia
One ?
Story is upwards of one hundred !!
True enough, didn’t realise how far from the border Tver was (approx. 800km. way, way, beyond Storm Shadow or ATACMs range)
So, what was it? If it really was one of those new jet powered drones, what an introduction 👏👏👏
Id actually laugh at the ingenuity of that if it were actually true! Lol
Imagine if they were playing both sides; selling weapons and ammo to russia but attaching a GPS tracker to all containers and selling the info to Ukraine
Say North Korea are absolutely delighted.
Kim: ooohhhh noooooo. All those weapons were destroyed, before you could use them??? Here I can sell you more!
More funds for Kim's cheese collection!
T'is barely a scratch, the next shipment from North Korea will more than replenish it and they will be back to winning in no time.
Early Satellite photos of the results of the blast. Devastating is am understatement for Russia
This could win the medal for strike of the year award.
Europe needs to double down. We've too much invested in Ukrainians winning this that letting it fall to Putin.
Yes it's a good move and pleasant surprise.
Here you go, this seems to be a separate pledge:
