OT but does anyone in here use the Sparks app? Its gone so bad, barely any treats anymore, used to be very good.
The back to school 3 for 2 mix and match must be the best offer they've given in quite some time.
It's almost 3 euro off our normal weekly shop every week.
There was a thread for it somewhere… offers were ok for a while but desperate now. Last time I checked I was offered 50c off a pack of mushrooms!
Pity they don’t show pics off all the products on offer alongside the product code on the app
Has the app just gone down?
Started flicking through the various backend options to see if everything else is down, and the Profile section returns a "net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"
Guess I'm not going shopping this lunchtime.
Lucky you.
Just there and two old ladies talking by the chocolate. One says to the other that she was there at 9 O'clock and they had none even then.
Outside of the Parkrun, this just doesn't work for me.
App down for me.
Plenty of Hazelnut choc on display in my local 11am.
App is down for me too, but the QR code is still there, so shopping might work.....
App down but does QR work in store does anyone know?
it should work but I can’t login to activate the offers :/
It does list all the products on the App but from what I can see it includes every product that each of the 3 companies sell in Lidl. The thing is you can buy 3 packets of cheese or 3 packets of the cooked meats and one will be free. No point picking up a slice pan for 85c when you can have a XXL pack of ham or 17 slices of cheddar for free.
Ye, it's back up now, just after them sending out a notification saying they were down.
Yeh Pity they don’t show pics off all the products on offer alongside the product code on the app though
buy in threes
photos would be ideal. I was standing there checking product codes and working out the beat value for things and ended up saying f this and got 3 packs of the same cheese 🤣
On the 3 for 2 offer has anyone figuered out which chicken slices are available. I know the brand is Glensallagh but last week I brought 3 x a 2.99 packet and 3 x a 1.99 one and neither discounted so I left them there. Wasnt sure if chicken slices are included or just the packets of Glensallagh cooked chicken breasts if anyone knows?
I had the Jelly Babies free treat activated yesterday as well so unsure if theres a problem in general.
new to the app find it all a bit tedious to use overly complex and hard to identify product. Maybe I’m getting old but my eye sight isn’t that bad.
If you look at the "products included" on the App you'll see all the packs that are in the offer, I just checked and think I saw 9 types of chicken slices, I presume that's the full range.
Like a picture buke?
yeah I had checked the products included section and there was so many it looked like the entire Glensallagh range was on a 3 for 2 offer. But across two different types of sliced chicken it didnt give the discount. Must be a glitch with my app or something. Theres not a hope I can read the product code on the shelf labels and correspond it with the app, the font size they use for the product code is tiny.
Free cucumber for parkrun next week if trends prevail
They can stick it up their............
Use your phone to take photo and then zoom in
Any possibility you bought another product in the offer without noticing (e.g. bread) and as that was cheaper it was the free product rather than the chicken?
Yep, do whatever it takes.
Leave no stone unturned in the quest for freebies, they taste so much nicer.
Nah, just like this really
🤣.
Did anyone see this at the time? I must've missed it
work email, myAccount, ePayslips, We Are Lidl - is that not for Lidl employees only?
I guess so, it was with the other advertisement boards at the checkout
I'd love them to just add a barcode scanner to the app to check if the product is included in offers.
Its handy in m&s to do scan and shop for the same reason and just transfer to till or just pay in the sparks app and walk out.
