Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
You haven't seen him live recently have you? Sounds great. It doesnt really matter anyway everyone sings so loud you can barely hear him.
Ian Brown sang 50% of the vocals wildly out of tune at the Roses gigs but was mercifully drowned out by the crowd.
But I think its more that hes grown up a bit and is a bit more professional about things which has enabled this to happen.
Officially 3, after that promoters have to apply for each additional date.
I for one, couldn't care less what their motivation is for doing it. I'll be going.
I don’t even like Oasis much and I’m thinking of going.
Show me on the doll where Oasis have hurt you
Think you're what's known as an event junkie.
LOL the ticket greed will be immense with this one
will be interesting to see the effect of Dublin going onsale prior UK
I disagree completely Beady Eye was awful, noise/attitude with no decent lyrics. I do prefer Liam's later solo stuff to Noel's solo stuff currently though.
The Definitely Maybe 30th Anniversary edition is released on the 30th so some have suggested the possibility that anyone who has preordered it will get a presale link.
I think even the most devout Oasis fan would admit that the quality of Oasis performances (and Liam's) over the years have varied wildly from the incredible to the appalling. The reality is that for a reunion, it doesn't really matter. The performances themselves could go either way but the reunion will be a success regardless and barring an absolute disaster, punters will have a great time and that's the main thing.
Thats exactly what Ticketmaster want.
Panic, FOMO, people will buy anything.
Fair cop, agree with you here.
I'm more interested in his mental state. Will he be drunk or stoned, sing the first line or two of a song and then talk pure bull that no one's interested in.
Should be easy to get tickets the amount of people in here moaning that they aren't good.
in fairness these two dates will fly out.
give us a price guesstimate
I thought Liam is fairly sober and sensible these days compared to what he was?
He even goes for regular runs and everything, you cannot do that if you are not healthy.
Pray tell us what amazing bands you're into?
What would Noel add, probably the fact that he's the main song writer, and Oasis would be nothing without him, or more so Liam to that point.
Surely they'll be opening these gigs by playing Acquiesce.
They'll go anyways as they love to be miserable though.
I can't wait. I've seen them numerous times throughout the years from 95 onwards.
Some gigs more memorable than others, highlight Cork 96, lowlight the mudfest at Oxygen one year.
Yes I know, but the 8am start is to sell the extra dates they are holding too.
Anytime there is a sale on a Saturday its to sell loads of extra dates.
would say starts from €150 ish for actual tickets on pitch apparently tickets are starting from €86 but that probably a handful of restricted view seats.
no matter if they announce an extra shoe or two they won’t last long. Will be a very short window to but. might be a few resale tickets next august
Cant see this being the same as Acdc when they deliberately held back tickets.
The info I'd like to know the most is who'll be in the band. With Bonehead healthy and playing, it'd be daft not to have him, the founding member as part of an Oasis "reunion".
Sounds about right. 150 would be my guess. Won't be much ceaper anyway.
I'm more concerned about getting a ticket rather than the price, if i need to travel to UK, i will.
Fcuk knows if i'll ever have the chance again to watch them live going on past history. I genuinely didn't think this would happen
Rumours seem to be high flying birds plus Liam. If true, no doubt it's one of Noels stipulations for doing it
D'you know what I mean?
