Luka is likely making this moves just to appease Putin in order to "tie up" some Ukrainian forces on the Belarusian border - but its very unlikely to make any sort of attack. The Belarusian military is pretty rubbish even by Russian standards and there just isn't much will for it. Luka makes noise to appease Putin - on the flipside he's an ally (flunky) that Putin needs.
The real issue is when Putin puts the plan to absorb Belarus into action, which has already been exposed in leaks and will probably happen at some point - in which case the situation will get more complicated.
For now, if I were a Ukrainian, I wouldn't be too worried about any sort of Belarus action. I would however keep an eye on any Russian forces using that border for further shenanigans.

Its not like they had a choice, Luka's a bollóx but at the same time if he refused Putin he'd be signing his own death warrant and it would happen anyway. I'm amazed he's stayed alive as long as he has sitting between Putin and the Belarussians that want to over throw him

Both I'd assume but I'd be pretty sure he's breaking all sorts of international law regarding the treatment of refugees so I'd expect him to get his wings clipped even further by the EU.

He's dead right on this issue though. Hungary has stopped so many 3rd world immigrants breaking into the EU. He could open the border and allows a tsunami to flood Europe. The majority of Europeans support Hungary on their hardline immigration stance but it falls in deaf ears in Brussels.
