Well that explains a lot
in short Putin wants both Donbas and for conscripts to free Kursk, without the resources
Yes no harm for Ukraine to keep its western allies guessing as well. And that if they abandon Ukraine things could become very unpredictable. Remember the number one aim of the western allies is to contain the war.
we need a nickname for this sad specimen too
That doesn't even look like Kadyrov. Look at the deep creases at the outer corners of the eyes.
Russians shooting Russians in Russia.

Subtitles for the above
Maybe Finland should turn a blind eye and let some Ukrainian units pop over the border just outside St. Petersburg. Putler would really soil his britches if he seen enemy units driving through streets of his hometown on tv.
IMHO manpower permitting a three day decapitation drive on Minsk would bring in a sizeable population who are just waiting for freedom, especially if the reports that Belarus emptied its ammo and equipment reserves over last three years
Putin can’t even defend Russia and has a terrible history defending his allies, especially allies whose land was used for invasion
I think the reason they don't is other countries might say to Ukraine you invaded another country other then Russia and there might be a lot of blow back from there and they might not give as much help.to Ukraine there even tho Russia did lanuch invasion forces from there and you then might need to leave an occupation force as well. You might need your best forces to do this and might need about 50000 troops to do it and your pulling them from the fight against Russian forces. Then say if the Belarus forces put up a better fight then you thought so instead of something you thought might take a wk the most to accomplish your bogged down in their country and now it's not going to plan. Ukraine have enough on their plate without doing this even tho it would be great if they could.
Would be great if there was a Freedom Of Belarus legion that went in and f'd things up for a little while
The pervy priests don't seem to have helped with their prayers
Ukraine leadership should consider issuing a statement, that anyone considering liberating Belarus internally can rely on Ukraine's forces for support. Luka might not survive the inevitable coronary from such a statement. IF the border with Belarus was secured i.e. Luka departing his over-held role then that frees up a lot of Ukrainian forces.
New Ukrainian peace terms. Russia to respect the international borders pre 2014 invasion, and Ukraine will cease attacking Russia before Putin's army has to resort to rocks and sticks as weapons of choice.
Ukraine is, obviously, not going to engage in such aggressive behaviour to an ostensibly neutral neighbour. Getting involved in regime change with third parties is not their goal here.
Exactly. Ukraine invading Belarus is pie in the sky stuff, they've no interest in doing it unless attacked first, nor do they have the resources right now
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belarusian_involvement_in_the_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine
"Belarus allowed Russia to stage part of the invasion from its territory, giving Russia the shortest possible land route to Ukraine's capital, Kyiv."
"Belarus has also allowed Russian missile launchers to be stationed on its territory and shoot at Ukrainian targets."
Can I have a show of hands from those that think Belarus is neutral?
Unless Belarus attack first, thats a no go. NATO would have a shítfit if Ukraine attacked a country which so far hasn't militarily attacked them.
pie in the sky continues to grow
If provoked I would say Belarus would flip pretty easy and Ukraine most certainly has the resources. Luka isn't as secure as your buddy Putin.
But they shouldn't go near the place unless Belarus act first.
Yes, Lukashenko is an utter villain and will hopefully be deposed.
Ukraine are still not going to go on the offensive against an "ostensibly" neutral party to the conflict nor encourage others to do so.
We've gone from when will Belarus will invade Ukraine to the reverse now 😂
I suppose that's possibly asking for civil war in Belarus. Then Ukraine saying we would support the anti luka side with their military. I can't see it happening but yes it would be great if Ukraine could free up the troops stationed on their border as there would be a considerable amount that could engage against Russian forces.
You facilitate theives to cross your land to rob your next door neighbour and say, nothing to do with me, i robbed nothing. Is that what you're saying ?
You’re clueless. Neither the eu or the us want Belarus drawn into the war. Nor do Ukraine want yet another active front. And they don’t want to be painted as an aggressor. They have no reason to waste resources on Belarus. And Belarus are never going to attack anyone. Their leader is all hot air but he will never risk military action.
You do know Ukraine has forces positioned along the Belarus border, and need to be careful of the Belarus forces on their left flank as they progress into Russia. These forces could be redirected. In such a scenario I'd expect the Belarus citizens/army to do the heavy lifting to oust Luka. This is more likely to happen, imo, if nudged. I don't think Ukraine would have to commit much, if anything. The prize is being able to move tied up forces to meet the Russian invaders/help with their push into Russia.
whatever is going on the Ukranian army have really changed their tactics over the last month. Maybe it’s easier sell sweeping campaigns in the North to new recruits as opposed to the grind of the Eastern front.
According to those in the know it was always a Friday. So I guess tomorrow could be a busy day...
