What an attention seeking, racist low life.

    Desperate for clicks and attention.

Republicans are turning up to support Harris… meanwhile notable Republicans such as Bush conspicuous by their absence from the RNC.

Now do a Trump speech , now do a Trump speech!!!

Sounds absolutely plausible if not probable.

He tanked the immigration bill to the detriment of the country. He was yearning for a terrorist attack. Why wouldn't he do this?

It's certainly plausible. I think if the Democrats make an allegation like that they should back it up with evidence.

If it's a fabrication then using the Gaza issue to score political points would be just as horrendous.

How many times were there horrendous stories about 45, denied at the time by him and his team and then turned out to be true?

He made the GOP tank the Border deal so it wouldn't give the Dems an advantage in the election. He met Netanyahu privately and he's already said Israel need to finish it and get the win, so the idea that he may have promised Netanyahu more support if he prevents a deal on a ceasefire and if Trump gets elected would make absolute sense. There'd be no other reason for him to try meet Netanyahu considering Israel/Palestine will no doubt be a big factor for many in the election.

So it looks like that explicit version of that kid rock song *is* being played by Trump before his speech...

Its possible that he might [being who he is] think that Israel might be hospitable if he needed a bolt-hole seeing as he moved the US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv as he [again in his own mind] might think of himself as a righteous person. Apparently one of his funders [the lady with the Presidential medal] assisted - after a fashion - him there by buying the old embassy building so the new administration could not reverse Trump's embassy move decision.

About to find out in around 3 years if the DOJ follows their usual practice.

Leaving Fox News has really hit her hard. The same Fox News she claimed she sexually harassed at, and turned on her for daring to ask Trump some tough questions.

And now, like other Republicans, she's basically rimming Trump and holding him up to be God.

US Republicans are not just a cult of personality, it's a cult of lick-spittle stupidity.

The longer the momentum shift is obvious, the lower this pump-and-dump stock will go. Especially now that Convicted Felon Trump is back in Eloon's good graces on X.

Any of them that have left Fox have found it really hard.

Once you've gone "full Fox News" there really isn't anywhere else to go after that.

Look at all of the "Big Name" Prime time presenters that have left Fox over the years

Bill O'Reilly , Glenn Beck , Megyn Kelly , Gretchen Carlson , Eric Bolling , Tucker Carlson - They've all lost profile massively or effectively disappeared.

The only one to have managed to remain remotely close to main-stream primetime is Chris Wallace because he retained the basics of journalistic principals and so was able to pivot away.

THe rest had gone full loon from which there is no return and after Fox the only way is down.

I wonder if they give a sh*t? They've disappeared from our view, yeah, but the grift is strong with them and there's many rubes out there willing to give them cash.

None of them are worried about the Mortgage that's for sure , but I doubt any of them are earning anything like the money they'd have been getting during their time on Fox.

Also these are people that thrive on attention and they are getting a whole lot less now than before..

Kelly is no fool. She will play the role of whoever pays her the most and she has done and continues to do extremely well out of it.

There is a lot of money to be made from being a contrary simpleton 'merely asking questions' on the internet.

Yep plenty of people who aren't firing on all cylinders between the ears to grift and have repeat what you say like a nodding donkey due to a number of reasons such as cuts to education and health care budgets.

But the whole conspiracy theorists and everything I don't like is communism or socialisim market is getting saturated so it helps to have a profile from somewhere like fox.

The block on the main shareholders from off-loading their shares is ending in about 3 weeks.

Trump holds ~60% and another 20/25% is held by other restricted parties - Most of whom are people that got paid in stock for Work/Services delivered in lieu of actual payment (who thought that would be a good idea??).

The race will be on to see who can get out fastest before it drops 90%+

The second any of them places a sell order the price will fall off a cliff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,943 ✭✭✭ronjo

who in earth is realistically going to buy these shares?

you would think anyone outside this 80/85% will be trying to get out before this date too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,781 ✭✭✭Flaneur OBrien

Can ordinary people that bought a couple of thousand dollars worth of shares sell now, or do they have to hold on as well?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,021 ✭✭✭✭duploelabs

Yes. LeopardsAteMyFace is awash with tales of people loosing thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, on purchasing djt shares

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,781 ✭✭✭Flaneur OBrien

Poor unfortunates. Being taken advantage like that.

I know it's their own fault, but still. You would have to have some empathy for them.

I'm sure there was more than one college fund gone up in smoke with this scheme. Those kids didn't deserve this.

    Well , yes and no.

There is such a tiny volume of shares actually being traded now that the price is artificially inflated due to a relative lack of availability.

A lot of the current share-holders are MAGA type who have invested purely because the love Trump and not because they see any actual value in the company.

Some of the decline in the price is the "regular" investor bailing out as they see that deadline coming up and as they see that the chances of some corporate re-birth on foot of a Trump Presidency is getting less and less likely.

Like I said , the second a large sell order goes out there the stock will plummet if for no other reason than the fact that volume of available shares will increase massively making it far easier to get, so supply and demand will shift heavily to over-supply.

It's a game of reverse chicken as he who blinks last will be the biggest loser.

Well, not just that, they need to trickle as much or as little onto the market from their holding so as not to spook the market and render the remaining stock they still hold worthless and they are all going to be trying to do the same thing at the same time.

The time used by Obama at the DNC was good when it came to applying put downs of Trump. The hand gesture by him referencing [crowd rally] size got a good response from the audience; aka the gesture by Sonny Corleone's wife reversed.
