Nice I was wondering how that would go. If Russia weren't pushed out they'd eventually be pushed back pretty easily but if Ukraine did in here Russia will have to absolutely flatten their own town to eventually get Ukraine out.
Hard to know if this will go much further but Ukraine will be happy with this buffer zone. Hopefully they build good fortifications on the actual border now.
Would be nice to see this repeated elsewhere for the same reasons. Mainly Chernihiv.

The education system is really good there, especially for maths and the whole stem, the whole socialist thing of well shoot you if you disagree has messed them up though.
Yet they are incapable of being kept in line like their Asian counterparts. russians have their Murphy's Law slider set to max. Calamity and disaster follows them like a dark cloud. If anything they've been over serfed.

Is it still (honest question, as have no experience)? It definitely was in the Soviet days, but I would wonder now? I know you like to call it "socialist", but it isn't any more (and I think you know that 😛).
The Soviets had a high ideological goal (socialism/communism), they were in this big economic/scientific/technological/military system struggle with the West esp. the US.
Learning, and the highly educated professionals that could help them compete in this were very respected by the state. Such people received a lot of benefits.
Until very recently Putin and system he has created had no real ideological goals/underpinning, and I think no interest in stuff like the basic quality of education of the population, no respect for professionals (vs loyal dogsbodies etc.), and gave little thought to improvement of Russia's scientific/technological/industrial base.
Even now, its only as regards improving the fairly crap Russian army and building better weapons for destroying Ukraine that he/the other leaders may have become more interested in such things.
It's a gangster state with nukes, and the leaders are a bunch of ex spies and thieves, very limited and pretty incapable of improving Russia IMO.

I looked around on several sites to make sure the story was the same and he wasn't a sex offender or something but no it seems it's legit. I can't think of any society that would openly attack a person that old it's unhuman. Makes you wonder if the Ukrainian POWs returned without organs were still alive when they were taken, it's been bothering me since I read that a few weeks ago.
Ukrainians were returned alive with some organs harvested while in carceration was how I read into it.
Edit: and now you are not wondering what could happen to disappeared adults and children in Ukraine..
Double edit: you have to be alive and the blood pumping to harvest organs.
Unless they had drones or weapons specifically target the flight line of the air base, I doubt it. Impressive as the explosions are, the ammunition depot is quite a bit away from the actual airfield. Even the Russians aren’t dumb enough to build an ammo dump right next to an active air base.

POWs were correct. There are some returned alive pows claim they had organs removed.
In china, russia's friend it's a practice to remove organs from prisoners. And they would be still alive and heart beating. If they are alive it's a greater chance of the organ transplant being a success. Ethics with Russia and China would not be considered as they just don't care as they consider nobody's going to stop them.
For dead bodies being returned without organs. It doesn't necessarily mean the organs were harvested. It could be just part of the way of preserving the bodies.
Absolute bollox preserving bodies my arsehole. Taking body parts from the living or dead is in contravention of everything sacred for fcuk sake. Are you seriously trying to rationalize organ harvesting on behalf of the russians just because the chinese do it?
I'm not. But what do you think is done in battlefield situations where there's no embalmer and no freezers? Organs are taken out, body cavity washed out, maybe the organs are put back in in a plastic bag in the stomach cavity and sewn back up. What do you think happens here in a post mortem?
There's a golden opportunity here for the Ukrainians to wreak havoc on Russian airframes. The Russians are flying low level sorties all over Kursk searching for Ukrainian battalions with not alot of care being taken as to the safety of it. They probably assume because they're over former home soil that it's safe.
The Ukrainians should pack the place with Manpads and place some AA on the Ukrainian side of the border. Anything flying low gets taken out by infantry, everything the flies higher meets an SAM. They could take another 10 airframes out of service and really give the locals something to distribute on their phones.

His claims are just ridiculous.
Once a person dies, the timeframe for usefulness of their organs is measured in minutes, not the days it would take to get them off the front line and to an area to be harvested. The transfer of corpses between Ukrainians and Russians is measured in weeks, not days. If a body is not embalmed, it's going to be a putrefied mess by the time it's returned.
Second point. If you we were somehow harvesting organs from Ukrainians, you're hardly going to return the body and provide evidence of your crime 🤡
