Survey on Social media use within Christian communities in Ireland

Hi all, I'm a masters student in Maynooth University, Ireland conducting research to understand how social media affects relationships within Christian communities. My goal is to see how effective social media is in forming and maintaining relationships between Christians and to suggest ways to enhance healthy and close bonds within the community. All personal details remain anonymous. Please if you have time, it would only take no more than 10 minutes to complete. I would appreciate your help in this.

Done. I would say, however, that frequencies like 'sometimes' 'rarely' etc are too vague and subjective for a survey. Daily, weekly, monthly etc would be much more meaningful.

The phrase "Christian community" is very odd.

Ireland has 1,500 years of history as a Christian country.

There is no such thing as Christian communities dotted here and there across Ireland.

In the USA, you might use the phrase Amish communities, as there are pockets of Amish people in some states.

Fair point, Probably should have phrased it better. Though the reasoning in using communities was to mean groups of Christians who share and worship together either in the same church or space, like a some level of familiarity with each other.

I filled it out earlier. Perhaps some of the questions seem more independent Protestant focussed. There are devotions like Sunday Vespers in Catholic and CoI churches, but I think there was a prayer meeting related question. 'Denomination' might be better than 'community' but than some independent Protestants call themselves 'non denominational.' It can be very hard to get an exactly right work without baggage or multiple meanings, but I suppose a particular word can be given a focussed definition for the purposes of a study. One possible direction for a question or consideration is that some people can become utterly convinced of something via social media misinformation or simplification and they spread the mis-info. This can cause tensions among people of an otherwise similar religious understanding.

Thank you. As I continue to conduct this survey I do notice some things that could be phrased better or some other aspects I should take into consideration. Religion/Christianity can be quite complex in some of its definitions and/or categorizations. .
