Russia doing what Russia has been doing all along! Plying its trade.
No wonder the talks were cut short….that kind of public admonishment wouldn't go down too well with dictator Putin. Great to see him so pissed off though!
If Trump takes the Whitehouse in November, Putin will have won a war that is of far more importance than anything he could ever achieve in Ukraine. 20yrs of online campaigns and troll farms will have convinced America to do away with democracy and pivot toward dictatorship, whilst simultaneously installing a candidate who is completely and utterly compromised.
I find it hard to believe that the power brokers in American politics and military are willing to sit back and let it happen but it appears that Putins longest war will be won.
But that's only because he's never been in Russia…there's several kind of pro-Putin posters on here, there's the ones who are operating out of Putin's troll factory in Moscow, and there's the ones living here in Ireland, who are either genuine Irish, or New Irish. A lot of the new Irish, especially of Ukrainian / Baltic states extraction, hate Putin and all things Russian. Then you have the genuine Irish poster, whose posts are 100% in favour of Putin, but coming in many guises. These ones are the bullshit artists who have never even been in Russia yet profess expertise in all matters Russian. Ditto knowledge of war….yet they have never been in a country that was at war.
Is it not possible to swap role?
I.E she takes over as running candidate and he becomes vice president?
FFS Biden...
One diplomat. One russian toilet cleaner. One russian window cleaner. One russian carpet cleaner. One russian receptionist. One russian pest controller. One russian IT person. One russian security guard. You see how that could go. Russians don't play by the rules. Every trick would be taken to ensure their secret service and killers could still be accommodated and facilitated in the embassies.
Jut leave them with one person in each! No time to spy then.
Just kick out all the Russian embassies out of the EU bar one already.
Attempted russian assassination of Rheinmetall CEO.
a utopia
Oh dear.

This excerpt below really jumped out at me
In his July 9 article, Havrylyuk claimed that Russian forces suffered 5,000 casualties for just one district of Chasiv Yar, likely referring to Kanal Microraion (the only neighborhood of easternmost Chasiv Yar that Russian forces currently control).[22] Kanal Microraion is around three blocks wide and three blocks long, and the loss of 5,000 personnel for such a small piece of territory is indicative of the highly attritional way in which Russian forces are conducting their offensive operations.
The canal that runs north south is the frontline atm.
He is a Trump ally and openly supports the US Republicans. Orbán was also in the US for the NATO summit. He still has to go through the motions (!?) and attend that. No doubt a visit to Trump afterwards would be of far greater importance to him and his govt.
His foreign minister was apparently interviewed by their state TV, and attacked NATO criticism of Chinese support to Russia in its war, which is quite funny (or sad).
Presumably NATO remarks on China are meant to represent the Hungarian position too…("We won't put up with NATO becoming an anti-China bloc"):

Because Trump is on "their" side and Biden isn't.
Strange state of affairs really.
Orban hitched his wagon to Trump at the last Hungarian election. He's gambling, and if Trump wins, it pays off big for him. If it doesn't pan out he can just "flip" back, being a populist and having no principles is relatively easy.
why Trump? I reckon Putin SUGGESTED it. ORBAN has thrown PROTOCOL out the window and shows NO respect for the US as a democratic nation. As an official visit he should be meeting rather current president at least first. It beggars belief
There's some real butthurt posters online elsewhere about the new aid packages going to Ukraine.
I think they've been brought on a journey so far by russian and maga propaganda that putin has become their messiah of all what they believe how the world should be run in their imagination. If there's anything or inadequacies in their lives then it's putin is the answer. The russian bots of course have been fostering and cultivating this support online.
It always goes back to Hitler. But I firmly believe the same posters if Hitler was here today and had his online propaganda army at work the same posters would be supporting the man himself and decrying any action against his work.
It's a very sad existence to be thinking putin is a great man with our modern values in how he has been subjegating his own population to death by meat grinder, death by prison for not agreeing with the regime, a brain drain on the country with all the university professors and scientists leaving Dodge, subjegation of gay people, rights being removed from women. You'd be a bit broken inside to be thinking this is something that is welcome.
well…ok…maybe only one camels fleas per russian mafia member so…wouldnt want them to think we were over-kill or anything
They don't have any remaining 'opponents' to visit - domestically at least. 😉
Possibly, but he is posting on several topics here on boards. This is his idea amusement winding people up about Ukraine. He's a sick bastard supporting another other extremely sick bastard, Vladimir Putin. The best thing to do with him is ignore him.
Didn't say anything about liking the guy but that's the president of the EU visiting the current US President's political opponent after meeting other heads of state. Why did he visit Putin's or Xi's electoral "opponents"? 😂
Oh, 1000 camels would be massive over kill….the number of fleas occupying one camel would be more than enough...and one camel's worth of fleas would prolong the agony indefinitely!!
you may not like him but a shrewd more getting brownie points with the almost shoo-in president at this point instead of wasting time with the lame duck, doddering frail old man on the way out.
I see Orban is off to visit Trump (not the current US president) next. Surprised he's not stopping in North Korea on the way.
Not if they can convince some Irish people of russian superiority!
home, I'd guess.
