I formulated a theory some time ago that tik tok stars and you tube stars are simply stars there because they aren't good enough to be on television or radio. Nothing I've seen recently disproves that theory. Sza fits that.

SZA is not my cup of tea (coz I’m old) and she is obviously talented but the sound isn’t great. Even at that the crowd appear to be enjoying it. It’s gas people on here giving out about her being a headliner/rubbish/not worthy etc. and piping on about how great the National are - showing your age there lads. SZA is for the young folk. I asked my teen folk who the National are and they said who? I switched over and they were laughing at the “dad rock” …SZA…they know exactly who she is…so do a sizeable portion for the Glastonbury attendees. I dare say they are closer to their teenage years than their dotage.

SZA is only headlining because Madonna fell through, then Stevie Wonder, so they bumped SZA from Other headliner to Pyramid headliner.
Then bumped Idles up to Other headliner, which is obviously way beyond what they should be normally (and clashed with Fontaines DC at the same time, splitting a lot of their mutual audience).
Plenty of options on what to watch on BBC Iplayer..
I know people say that Coldplay are very samey and boring but they are like musical geniuses compared to this SZA stuff.

The Glastonbury demographic is far closer to a National audience than a SZA gig is.
Going on the TV coverage tonight the National have a bigger crowd than SZA.
People who know who SZA is and go to her gigs don't really go to Glastonbury.

Not at all....their coverage, as every year has been excellent. They can't control what's on the main stage Fri/Sat/Sun on BBC1 or whatever but the BBC2 and BBC4 stuff has been fantastic, and that's without any of the iplayer stuff.
We've had in on every day here non stop. I cannot believe we get this amount of coverage, and look forward to it every year!
