Kill em all and deport the children. Don't let them back to become non Russian again.
Putin's aunty here giving The Borg view of her world. Being fed the "we are the greatest" BS, all her life whilst living in poverty.
The Belarussian ambassador to Germany was thrown off a roof after interrogations and torture by the KGB in Belarus.
When you hear Galloway speak, better to turn off the sound. A conman and a chancer s all he is,
Yeah, but used the Islamic angle to get elected.
Yes, but without the Russians occupying them. Hard to blame them either. Same as my Finland friend was telling me, even if they do recover the region Russia stole, they don't want any Russians back with it.
Of course he would be in favour of recognising historical borders, as long as it was based on his historical version of the borders
Lasting for, say, 3 days?
Fairly pointless tweet. I'd say 90% of active tweeters are only interested in massaging their own egos looking for likes and follows as opposed to actually trying to educate/ inform. I'm the Russians are constantly posting equivalent tweets of demented Ukrainians/ Westerners coming out with awful stuff too. Really, what's the point other than indulging 'borg' and 'orcs' and 'RuZZianz' nonsense.
Well ....
Exactly what Russia had in store for Ukraine. This is what human rights and peace looks like under Russian occcupation.
Apparently Ukraine has its own spy satellite purchased with public donations, the fund was originally set up to purchase Bayraktar drones.
Yet we don't see western or Ukrainian tweets or footage of how they should take over more territory in the world and kill the people on it and or adopt the children there into the society so they don't speak their original language or identify themselves with their homeland and customs. This is purely Russian in how they see the rest of the world and if you disagree with that stance you are accused of being a Russaphobe.
Nowadays in Russia it's celebrated in song and pagent of the glory days of the red army. And how in lyrics they crossed half of Europe and half the world. Not humble and not normal practice for a country nowadays. Bar Russia.
how far back in history?
But Lord Putin promised us peace!
That would be Putin's decision too..his own unique version of history that is, and not to be confused with reality.
You do realise that everything in Russia is controlled from the head of the snake down? No surprise whatsoever that he commissions shows like that. You're not comparing like with like - just because the BBC don't have a programme like that, or presenters like the Russian clowns, isn't indicative of anything other than the fact the the UK is a liberal democracy and Russia an autocracy. That GB News corporation, Trump's 'Truth Social' and the various other questionable outlets that are being given air over here just go to show how quickly things can change.
You don't see tweets or footage from a Russian perspective because you don't go looking for them and there are algorithms to show you more of what you do look for. I've no doubt the average Russian pleb isn't seeing the kind of tweets you're looking at. And I've no doubt they're being inundated with footage of execution of Russian prisoners/ casualties in the field and dodgy hardcore Azov battalion troops cursing foreigners.
Nobody is calling you a Russophobe, just asking for a bit of balance. There's enough verifiably atrocious stuff coming out of Ukraine and Russia showing their regime as an abomination without having to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Some random old granny going off on one is evidence of nothing other than Russia has some demented citizens.
So much for western security guarentees.
I'm open to being wrong but I sincerely doubt that this is the kind of worst case scenario that people are thinking about.
I don't see a source for when he said this but if he meant some kind of settlement plan it'll almost certainly include the kinds of things he's been saying for years:
It makes no sense that Zelensky would be going through the motions of a recent mobilization. F16s on the cusp of arriving and Russia failing to make any meaningful gains to suddenly committing political suicide in his country by giving away chunks of Ukraine to Putin.
Either he never said this or the context in which he said it is completely missing.
Vladivostok being rightful Korean clay (pick your flavour as to which one).
Interesting article in the Moscow Times on the cancellation of, (what was a very, very good International Airshow in its day) MAKS 25 for the second year in a row, citing sanctions, the war in Ukraine and no interest from Western buyers.
Also, surely the quote from Zelensky in the post earlier is wrong, no?
Anyway, here is the article. Anyone ever been? I was there a couple of times in a row. Oh how the world has changed.

surely NATO will send troops if this happens?
Part of me is hoping it's true. Like, what are the chances of NK troops being anything other than a hindrance to the russians? They'll probably end up blowing each other up.
I doubt we'll see NK frontline troops. If they got too close to the frontline, they'd just defect.
It would be a chance to see if all that posturing is just that and North Korea is just a paper tiger.
Part of me thinks they might be. An even more rigid hierarchical structure than Russia, blind obedience, no-one dares contradict higher up, every report just being a glowing propaganda piece of how great they are doing and equipment that probably hasn't seen any maintenance since the 1960s.
Yes, they could be an even more spectacular failure than the Russians.
Could see something along the lines of an engineering detachment. Of course that would undermine Putin hysterics, over for instance French military trainers or Polish air defence troops.
Hoping if nothing else, the Ukrainians get some shiny South Korean kit in the coming months.
….
Or maybe a message to his own citizens - we know it's been very tough but it's time to buck up or face the worst.
edit…
There will not be any defects or surrendering. They come back in whatever condition or body bags or complete, but back they will com. Kim sends thousands of workers abroad each year to earn hard cash for his regime, with each and every member of the work party vetted, and his family verified. Failure to return means that the family has to pay the price. And in Kims Korea, that price might not be survivable. What will affect their military performance though is that in order to keep the N Koreans subjected, they are kept in a state of semi- permanent malnourishment. The difference between the N=Koreans and the S-Korean's is stark, with the N=Koreans being much smaller and thinner than their S-Koreans counterparts. Of course, given what Putin is giving his troops to eat, it might be an advantage for the N-Koreans…they beong used to it!!!
This would be my take on it too. Basically, we have to get real, up the stakes, take the fight to Putin and finish it, once and for all.
