It's a shameful act on Putin and the Russian people that they've come to represent everything that is beyond human behaviour in the world.
They've allowed themselves be seen as subhuman who's only purpose on the world stage is to terrorise all those around them.

This was meant to be a bad summer for Ukraine, but it appears the Russian assaults have ground to a halt after suffering big casualties.

If I was writing Russian propaganda, I'd at least try to make the country sound great. In the current script anyone and everyone can provoke them into committing atrocities. And not too many people are impressed by videos of Russian supermarket stock (eggs and apples were not available today, sorry).

Also, the US has masterminded this war and somehow lured into Russia into a trap and now bogged down in Ukraine.

Also, the US is giving Ukraine too many offensive weapons that can hit targets in Russia.
Ukraine will be asking for more air defence till the war is over regardless of whether they have sufficient coverage or not, it's a non-comment.
Still, at least Ukraine is getting US support with the funding released. The actions of the GOP were utterly shameful, don't you agree?

You don't understand -- Russia was provoked into degrading into being an oligarchic dictatorship obsessed with war, territorial grabs, and Stalinist revanchism, then it was provoked into spending over a decade in an economic war on Ukraine and indoctrinating its population with hateful propaganda (a.k.a. "Ukrainians are Nazis and not a real country"), then it was provoked into annexing part of Ukraine's territory and inciting and sponsoring a war in Ukraine's east, then it was provoked into concentrating the largest regional military grouping against Ukraine since the end of the Cold War, it was also provoked into openly laughing in the face of half of the West begging Putin not to invade Ukraine and not sending Ukraine any aid to avoid 'provoking Russia', thus Russia was provoked into unleashing the largest European war of aggression since WWII and, due to its very sudden failure to seize Kyiv, it was provoked into massacring the people of Ukraine, derailing all talks via knowingly unacceptable demands, and launching a devastating years-long war to erase dozens of Ukrainian cities from the earth's face and bomb Ukraine into the cold and dark due to the war's extremely unsatisfying results more than 2 years after, with some at least some 200,000 military dead on both sides and possibly tens of thousands of civilian fatalities. This is only rumours for now, but the Russians may have shot down an American UAV
I think they were claiming that yesterday too. The narrative being it was a US drone fired on the beach in Crimea. So if they were continuing the narrative then a conclusion for home audiences would be they shot down the UAV.
When the whole thing was a Ukrainian drone being shot at by Russian defences over the beach and the shrapnel from missile and debris falling on the beach.
I'd put the above post and link in the unlikely box for now and more to continue the bs for home audiences.

Instead of this faux concern for a state you obviously want to see invaded and destroyed, how about you explain why you feel it nessisary to promote the Kremlin’s messaging on an Irish board? What is it about Putin’s attempt to subjugate a neighbor state that you find so appealing?

It would be more accurate to say you cannot defend your posts and the inconsistencies and contradictions in them.
Anyone who genuinely hopes for more aid for Ukraine and for Ukraine to drive Russia back would have zero issue in either showing those posts or clarifying their position.

In their absence, we can conclude the criticisms by multiple posters here towards the agenda in your posts are valid.

That's the genius of Russian propaganda though. They know that there are many flavours of absolute fulching idiot out there and their propaganda firehose sprays wide so that all the idiots can latch on to the flavour that fits their beliefs. It doesn't need to be consistent, nor is it.

We cannot be relying on the Republican party or the US to keep Ukraine afloat. The US have contributed more than probably all other countries combined - and all this for a country on the other side of the world.
The European response has been more shameful as we're the ones in the line of fire. Admittedly things are starting to improve but I'm reluctant to accuse the US of lack of support. They have no obligation to provide any support and like any other country, there are other/domestic ways they can spend that money.
The Republican party, or at least Trump's sycophantic wing of it, were actively blocking Biden's attempts to send aid. And trying to justify that with lies and misinformation and virtual Russian propaganda. Big difference.
And let's not forget Trump as President, with holding aid to Ukraine because they wouldn't go along with his sham investigations.
Zero regard for Ukraine, zero regard for US national security.
That was utterly shameful conduct.
And the US has a moral obligation to assist, as part of Budapest Agreement, which it encouraged Ukraine to sign.
Putin is going to hold out and pray for a republican presidential victory.
