Not a cult.
And the irony on all this? Trump's initial success was built off exactly the kind of valid, anti establishment anger towards the obviously lopsided systems of America that punish the poor and forgotten. A not inconsiderable volume of (predominantly white) voters believed Trump's promise to drain the swamp and shake up Washington's latent unfairness ... and it turned out he was the biggest alligator in it.
Trump will attack these guys verbally and hurt them financially, if he can after Nov election.
I never claimed to be a professional analyst.
How would he hurt them financially? If he wins, his administration would probably be acting unlawfully if it terminated those retired military officers' pensions.
That's quaint that you think something being illegal would stop Trump from doing something…
SCOTUS would rule against him. If Trump thinks that dismissing government lawyers who disagree with him would mean that he would be victorious then he has forgotten about the 'Saturday Night Massacre'.
Didn't he do that with Andy McCabe? Forced him to litigate
Reading Doppelganger by Naomi Klein atm and one of her points is that people like Bannon and Trump latch onto real concerns but basically sell their own warped versions of it. So their version just generally misses the real issues and it pulls in really random supporters as a result.
McCabe still won the case.
He still had to go through the stress of a case…
To have forgotten about it he'd have to know about it in the first place , which I doubt - It wasn't about him so it's not information he retains.
If Trump gets elected , there will not be a single person in his administration with a spine who will tell him when he is doing something illegal/stupid, they will all smile and nod and tell him he's awesome and nothing more.
He will ride roughshod over anything and everything and he will fight in the courts for years if people try to challenge him.
As as everlast says , he's already done it and it took McCabe years and lots of money to over-turn it.
It was a civil case that was about wrongful termination of employment - it's not like he was accused of murder or, worse still, sex crimes that allegedly took place decades ago!
Nothing alleged about the Sex crimes - Confirmed in a court room.
Trump is a Rapist and a fraud.
I never said there was any such thing alleged in McCabe's case - I said "it's not like he was accused of …. sex crimes" in order to create perspective because there is no way that a civil case about wrongful termination would be as stressful as being prosecuted for alleged historic sexual offences.
Stressful for who? Tiny the rapist or his victim? And again, there's no alleged. It's proven.
You've let your mask slip there a little there…
Do you think justice has a time frame? These are no longer alleged crimes, he was found in a court to have committed sexual assault.
Do you think it's ok to commit crimes of a sexual nature if you can get away with it for a few decades?
I wasn't referring to Trump - it was an hypothesis on my part on what if McCabe had been accused of murder or sexual offences, which he wasn't. My point is that McCabe's case was a civil one about wrongful termination and so it wouldn't be as stressful for him as if he had been accused of crimes. If you'd read my posts properly then you'd know what I meant.
Oh don't worry , we all know exactly what you meant.
Ok, to remove all doubt (because you picked a weirdly specific worse trial to have to go through) do you agree that Tiny raped E Jean Carroll?
Trump will find a way lawfully or unlawfully to punish these guys, maybe under "dictator for a day" status, Trump and the law are strangers.
Indeed ,very clear to me what he was bullshitting.
Seems to be some kind of a game to see how stupid we can look.
And had the resources to. Many many wouldn't
Mr "I'm innocent on all charges" tries yet again to delay the trial that will vindicate him (and fails)
Hey "I'm perfectly happy to downplay a woman being sexually assaulted" guy.
Clearly, I'm just slow on the uptake, but Saturday night I am watching the Lego Movie(for about the 3rd time!), and I get a sudden realisation. The villain in the movie Lord Business:
Is DJT.
Sorry, clearly I am as thick as a brick.
Trump lost the nursing home vote so you know what that means we have to do?

Those retired generals who criticised Trump would have the resources to.
The mask slips again, but what are you even talking about here, I assume it's being irate that some Generals filed an amicus brief (which is cost-free to do really), but Gen. Mike Flynn had no similar resources and depended on a criminal pardon from Trump (thereby accepting guilt for his crimes)
Haven't seen the movie, but the lego character you posted has more realistic looking hair.
