Footage feels ominous..... and many reasons to be suspicious of who did this and why.... but ultimately it almost certainly means some sort of escalation... those dead bodies are going to shown on a loop on russian tv and vengeance will be demanded
Perhaps it was the gheys

Is the Chechen separatist movement still a big thing?
Definitely seems like this could lead to justification for a full mobilisation days after Putin re-elected and only admitting today they are at war. Does feel ominous.
It would seem the Americans warned Russia something was imminent and Putin dismissed it 3 days ago as fear-mongering by the west. He must feel pretty stupid now
Yeah i reckon same .. but we should, for comparison & to REMEMBER, temper this and trump it with
All RUSSIA and PUTIN
I'm reading all types of tweets, Chechan's, ISIS, CIA, Ukraine,Wagner etc... fact is X is full of nobodies who like us know absolutely sweet F all about what's happening. One thing for sure the footage is brutal and there is going to be some sort of a response from the Kremlin.
Considering all the other lies they tell, for sure they will, in some way. It's too great an opportunity for them. And this kinda thing from earlier today is not great timing and will feed the Russian propaganda.
"But thankfully Ukraine has politely refused the Biden administration’s request. Deputy PM Stefanishyna said Ukraine has told Washington that oil refineries in Russia are fully legitimate targets. “We understand the requests of American partners. But we wage war with the capabilities, resources and practices that are available to us.”"
The hypocrisy is not lost on me, russia is committing daily terror attacks. Nonetheless the footage from the theatre is horrible. much worse than drone footage of soldiers being blown up, maybe its just the context is much more relatable.
Not at all anymore, very small and considering the turmoil of the last years surprisingly inconsequential.
There are small Chechen separatist groups fighting on the Ukrainian side though
I think something like this is even beyond Putin, I would say it's most likely a Chechen like group taking advantage of the war. I also seriously doubt it would be officially sanctioned by Ukraine, but it's not beyond possibility that a paramilitary type group would do it.
I don’t know sending his own young country men into a 1000 casualty a day meat grinder is callous in the extreme.
Death toll has increased significantly from initial reports.
I think war is different. Don't get me wrong, if iron clad evidence came out it was orchestrated by him I wouldn't be shocked. It just wouldn't be my first go to.*
* this is not geo-political advice
Haven't paramilitary groups been attacking Russian border towns over the last few weeks? I wonder if they've taken it a step further after the attack on the dam last night.
There is no way Ukraine is involved. Just ask yourself - what do they have to gain? And what do they have to lose?
" Beyond Putin"
Google 1999 Moscow apartment bombings
Someone set off a firework in Moscow as the theatre burns.
You would think if that was the case there intelligence must of picked up some chatter somewhere about a likely attack so more then likely not FSB but who knows. I couldn't imagine it being Ukraine at all, but could be some sort of Ísis/chechan attack or possibly a Russian paramilitary group trying to overthrow putin but I doubt that as well as they wouldn't want to alienate the Russian public.
Reaction from Medvedev on the terrorist attack in Moskow:
To the families of those killed in the terrorist attack - sincere condolences, sincere strength to all the loved ones of the victims.
Terrorists understand only retaliatory terror. No trials or investigations will help if force is not countered by force, and deaths by total executions of terrorists and repressions against their families. World experience.
If it is established that these are terrorists of the Kyiv regime, it is impossible to deal with them and their ideological inspirers differently. All of them must be found and mercilessly destroyed as terrorists. Including officials of the state that committed such atrocity.
Death for death.

So,people get arrested for laying flowers on a memorial.
People get arrested for holding up a blank sheet of paper.
But in police state russia 5 armed persons can enter a concert unchallenged?
It's most definitely a False flag operation,so full mobilization can be implemented.
Things are going to get real messy real quick!
Scary times ahead.
I know this is not right from me but I'm struggling to muster up any sympathy for the Russian people. What they are doing to Ukrainians is far worse and has been going on since 2014. No doubt this will be used to garner incredible spirit to fight for the motherland but this stinks of a false flag operation.
Oh look,a Ukrainian registered van found parked outside!
I mean what are the chances of that happening.......🙄
"Full mobilisation"
As if Putin has only been going half in till now. He has already played his full hand and it was a dud.
If he goes all in and starts sending mass numbers from the cities and the middle class anyone who knows their history knows that will turn back on the leader.
It's most likely anti Putin Russian groups.
I saw on Reddit that there was a computer game with this exact scenario, mowing down innocent civilians, to justify Russian escalation. And a week after the election. And Putin has done it before.
Jesus they aren't wasting any time are they 🙄
Russian security camera footage of number plate and facial recognition are the most sophisticated in the world. It should be. It's Chinese technology and it's how the Chinese premier rules in China and how Putin maintains his iron grip on the country. You cannot go 100 metres (cities) in Russia without the tech recording the movements and either flagging or not the people or vehicles.
Calm as you like

We've seen how the world allowed Israel to have carte blanche on wiping out civilians after the October 7th attacks, hopefully this isn't what Putin wants out of this situation, but all of this looks very bad for Ukraine to me
