"Take them in as refugees". There it is. That's the plan. Kick them off their own land (continue to do so) and say look, no one else would take them, not out fault.
Genocide 101. Dress it how you like but that is what you want.
There is no doubt there are bad people in Palestine. They are bad people for reasons we all know but bad all the same and did horrible things on Oct 7th. But to use that as excuse to murder (yes murder) thousands of innocent including babies in incubators (maybe they are bad too) shows true colours.
Pick up a history book sometime, its not their land never has been never will be.
Anyway back to trump, he wants a retrial because reasons like the judge made him defend himself 🤣
Just realized this is the Trump thread so apologies for taking it off line but posters like this scare and annoy me. It is a middle ages approach to the world.
@Enter name here why don't you just say it out loud instead of asking people to read history books. What you mean is one or more of the following:
Vermont was a pleasant surprise. Denying him a clean run on the night
Yes - Trump won Super Tuesday as he was always going to do , but the details should worry his team.
Haley took about 35/40% of the vote averaged out across the various States and a significant percentage of those voters have indicated that they will not vote for Trump in November.
He also under-performed badly in the cities/suburbs.
That performance does not bode well for November at all.
And he's doing nothing to win them back either , earlier this week he said that "moderate Republicans have no place in the GOP" - MAGA only in other words.
He cannot win with just MAGA , but he also can't win without them but he has twisted the MAGAs up so much that even the slightest hint of a shift towards the centre to win over Moderates will send them off the deep end so he's caught up in a doom loop of his own making.
Irrelevant though and Haley is toast. Would expect a concession today.
I wouldn't be expecting a concession today. She has a healthy war chest. Plus, anytime Trump opens his mouth, CNN ask Haley for her reaction, it's free publicity. She knows she won't win, but all she needs to do is distract enough possible Trump voters away to accomplish her mission.
Reports floating around that she will indeed concede later today, and that she's unlikely to endorse Trump and will instead encourage him to do more to earn the support of the moderates and independents who supported her.
There's no point her sticking in the race any longer. The SC has all but ensured there'll be no cases brought against Trump that might disqualify him before November. It's Trump V Biden in November at this stage.
It used to be the news reported on what happened. Nowadays, they mostly seem to report on what it looks like will happen.
It's Trump V Biden in November at this stage.
Oh I know that. It was never going to be any different. As I said, Haleys job now is to deflect support away from Trump.
The RNC is not for another 4 months.
Seemingly due at around three p.m. our time. Needed a Desantis type to draw some of Trump's support away for a bit to viability.
She will concede today.
Trump is the GOP nominee, it's done ('and may Gawd have mercy on our souls', I am tempted to add!).
Well they're reporting on what sources are saying, but it hasn't been officially confirmed yet.
Either way, her job isn't to deflect support away from Trump. She's a Republican. She was staying in the race as long as possible, and because even though she was trailing him there was a chance he would be barred from running due to the cases against him. Her job was to stay in the race long enough to become the nominee. The chances of that now are almost zero to the point where there's no point running for it any more. In the event now that something happened and Trump couldn't be the nominee, she's already staked her claim to be the next in line.
Chris Christie was running more on an anti-Trump platform, and even he pulled out months ago because there just wasn't any point any more.
He was always going to be the nominee
The only thing that matters in her concession is whether or not she endorses him.
Sadly , I think she will with some mealy mouthed guff about rallying behind the GOP nominee with some vague twaddle about how he needs to reach out of moderates (which he won't).
Thats pretty clever.
There is absolutely no way he will respond positively to this.
She can then play the card of trying to pull the party together going forward.
She will concede if the money backing her stops coming in.
She will be talking to those who are putting the money in asking them what she should do next and do they want her to endorse Trump or not.
That was more a comment on the news in general, not this one particular event.
Yes I know they are, I am following the same news you are.
"Un-named sources close to Haley".
All I am saying is, I wouldn't assume she is conceding. Not after being the first woman to win a Primary in Vermont.
Seems she has conceded already
Yup.
So much for the “staying in this” crowd. Remember when Christie said he was gonna ride to the end of the primaries? Don’t know what flies through their heads. But, it isn’t principles.
I heard on Panorama two days ago that, although the US economy is doing well according to official statistics, many voters don't feel better off.
Texas ranch owner Kristina Adams, who is a Trump supporter, told ITV News that the cost of everything has gone up.
…“Ranch owner”
Realistically, she was probably only able to stay in the race due to donations; if in the wake of Super Tuesday they all went Uhm, you had your chance she mightn't have been left with enough cash to run the campaign office, let alone the campaign itself.
Uhm, you had your chance
MTG is really not proud and even triggered by her own past history of Jewish space lasers conspiracy theories.

A Trump Irish fan I know justified it by
This is an intelligent guy (for the most part) so it sort of explains how his antics dont phase them at all as they just skip to something else to be angry about.
Except contemporary reporting of the JSL remarks actually exists.

Its not worth the hassle of sending to him... It had never crossed my mind that he might like her
Sounds like as long as it annoys "the libs", your friend will row in behind them, logic be damned?
Talking to Irish friend of mine living in USA for 20 years+ .. he said word around at the moment re Haley is it would be some kick in the balls for trump if Biden choose haley as his VP for the next presidency
Does he follow politics closely over there?
I cant see how this is remotely possible in anyway (the MAGA reaction would be funny though)
.. there's nothing in the U.S. Constitution, particularly the 12th Amendment, that prevents a Republican from choosing a Democratic running mate or a Democrat from choosing a Green Party politician as there vice presidential candidate.
