I assume once it's officially announced, the VP candidate would be the presidential candidate and they would choose their own VP if the presidential candidate passed away?
After the convention I assume the VP would be bumped up the ticket.
If it was before the Convention then anything could happen there as the Trump delegates could vote for whoever.

I'd say the fact he doesn't pay any of his lawyers is the biggest factor. Also all those cases against those lawyers for arguing tenuous claims that defamed people, that's their own fault. They pushed Trump's conspiracies and it's backfired on them. Do you think lawyers should be above the law?
