Managed 8.5 kwh today which is the most I've had since November 6th.
Yes they are worth it (especially with a battery), no, don't get a wind turbine.
Will do get the solar panels, how much is this gonna be though 🤔 please say under 10 grand
No brainer getting solar panels just don't get ripped off and check the Q&A section here, a wind turbine will not generate as much. There's a thread here somewhere about it so if I can find it i'll post the link. Panels = 25/30 year warranty, inverter 5/10 years warranty, batteries will last 10+ years but will lose some power but will still be able to be used.

Thanks so much for the information 😊
There's useful information on the threads here https://www.boards.ie/categories/renewable-energies with installers information, we're not allowed name installers in most threads though.
That's understandable thanks so much 🙏 for all your help 😊 your a star
28.9 yesterday I'm loving these bright cold days !!
Very impressive, what is the system?
8.3kw array south facing Kilkenny
Aah, Kilkenny, my home county. Not surprised, best, sunniest place on Earth.
20.3kw today from a 7.4 setup SE/SW split
My setup is se/sw nowhere near that
8.88 kw array
Well done 👏
28.8 kwh today from 9.9kwp South West/west. New record for January for me.
That's exactly what my record haul is, and you got it in January🤯
25.6Kw today from a 8.4Kw S facing array
Another 7Kw's and I'll have matched Decembers production
Matched December this morning . Much less than you though ! I hit 97 kWh month to date from a 6Kw SE /SW facing array
Another new record for January for me today with 29kwh. Only slightly higher than the last one but excellent month of production so far.
Surpassed December's total today!
Me yesterday 😀.a whopping 97kwh mtd
27.7Kwh today, surpassed decembers output
bit of clipping between 11 and 2 today, oh to have a bigger inverter!!
Full December versus 18 days of January.
Shading is killing me at this time of year. 12.1KW today. 6.45KWP SSW facing.
9.8 kw two days running from a 4.3 kwh S facing system
That's solid. I've a 6.5Kwp and only managed 5.2Kwh today, granted it's E/W facing.....but still.
Hit 8.5Kwh on Wednesday and 8.4Kwh today on a 3.8Kwp. E&S facing.
Painful today. Clearest January sky ever! Sun in full bloom but not fit to remove the deep blanket of snow from the panels (the 4.6 SE array).
2.4kWh generated today from 6.6kW total array - Mayo.
7.7kWh generated from 2.52kW South facing array (new and up and running this week!). West string is off line, but chuffed with south array.
Maybe if you keep your system disconnected we might keep getting more sun.
Today was best day since Nov 7th. 16.2kwh today. SE ground mount 7.5kwp with 6kW inverter.
I've shading and low angle panels. 6kW today.
But each day it gets better on the double.
109kWh in december, 121 in Jan so far. clear frosty days paying off!!
