Say what you want about Trump he has amazing energy for a man of his age. I think it's beginning to dawn on many the court case stuff against him has massively backfired and his polling numbers show he is gaining support the more court appearances he racks up.
This seems to be the new talking point gone out in whatever email lists they are all signed up to, court cases = votes, the exact same nonsense showed up in the politics thread.
"Say what you want about Trump he has amazing energy for a man of his age"
That's not what Stormy said....
It has begun. 🙄, didn't Haley say 'theres no racism in the USA " or words to that effect recently she's about to find out the opposite is very much true.
Yeah, he looks terrible and tired.
Exposing his crimes will not get moderates and independents to vote for him.
Backfired?
On who? It is the potential crimes being investigated and cases held.
Trump has already been found to have sexually assaulted a woman, ordered to pay defamation costs and is now in court again for further adjudication.
Should the courts stop because Trump is popular with certain people?
Whether Trump wins the nomination, or indeed POTUS, has nothing to do with the courts. They adjudicate on crimes.
"I think it's beginning to dawn on many the court case stuff against him has massively backfired and his polling numbers show he is gaining support the more court appearances he racks up."
If that is true, imagine being the type of person who sees someone facing 91 indictments, who was impeached twice during his only term, whose corporation was found criminally liable for fraud, whose corporation is currently under civil prosecution, who was found criminally liable for rape and, while in court, continues to defame the victim, who admits to taking money for china while president and doing things in return, who admits to taking classified documents, the contents of which jeopardized national security, who mocked POWs, who says that foreign people are poisoning the blood of the nation, and saying to themselves...
"That's my guy!!!"
Don't forget sexual offenders, they'll certainly rush to their guy.
Sexual offenders were a previously untargeted voting group, now a key component of MAGA party.
You’re right, look at how he carries those pizzas, effortlessly. Some energy.
IOKIYAR. Been awhile since I thought of that phrase.
Reaction Trump apologists think they're getting here:
The reaction they're actually getting:
Lets not pretend Republicans weren't already deep in that demographic already... theres a pretty lengthy list of all the republicans that are convicted sexual predators and child abusers
I'd love someone to explain to me how the GOP can remove that guy Ziegler from his position as chair of the Florida GOP for being "under investigation for sexual assault" because his behaviour is unacceptable and inconsistent with their values , while at the same time they can fully support Trump for the office of President of the United States even though he has been found liable in a Court of law for Sexual Assault and can legally be referred to as a Rapist?
I'd love for the media to ask a few GOP types that question just to see the gymnastics they pull to explain it.
Yeah but who else has been so public in celebrating the fact as something electable?
Good to see the judge taking no ****
I don't know what this means for MAGA but it sure is refreshing I don't have to live with this homunculus anymore

As you can see from his facebook cover, he was/is a proud member of the sedition caucus.
Don't ask her why she changed her name from Nimrata
Or the time she called for Sen. Raphael Warnock (Black American) to be deported to god knows where

Or that she planned on attacking Biden in her campaign for *checks notes* historic racism
“I don’t need someone who palled around with segregationists in the ‘70s and has said racist comments all the way through his career lecturing me or anyone in South Carolina about what it means to have racism, slavery, or anything related to the Civil War.”

Welcome back, @Overheal
Trump may be bankrupt by the time the election happens. E Jean Carroll is probably going to take another 10 million off him. Is he looking at a 30 millions plus bill with legal costs. Is it a matter of time before opening his legal teams sue him for unpaid bill.
The NY fraud case will cause him problems as well. Even if he wins the election none of these liabilities will go away
Given the childish tantrum he threw last week, I would say the judge will err to the higher end of that $370m that was saught. So coupled with the Ej Carroll case, plus the legal bills mounting up for his criminal defense, he's going to be very very broke come the beginning of '25, and if you know your Line of Duty, even more susceptible to corruption and bribery
The weather was dire too and the turn out was v low. It just shows how determined his supporters are..I'm thinking it will be Trumpo V Biden..
There were only about 110k votes cast in total which is a 15% turn-out. Shockingly low, even by the typically awful Caucus vote turn-out rates.
The Republican Party of Iowa reported that 110,298 Iowans braved a sub-zero Arctic blast on Monday night to caucus at 1,657 precincts across the state. The number of caucus goers comprised 15% of Iowa's roughly 752,200 registered Republicans. That falls short of the 20% to nearly 30% of Republicans who caucused in recent years, experts say.
Thanks I took a break for thanksgiving from politics and Israel's fuckery and thought 'yeah this is nice'
The crazies are really vying for attention again though and this guy resigning finally is the best politics news I've had well, since his wife filed for divorce in September, lol.
I see he's continuing with his efforts to give E Jean Carroll even more money
Donald Trump has been threatened with expulsion from a civil trial courtroom after he repeatedly ignored a warning to keep quiet while writer E Jean Carroll described how he shattered her reputation after she accused him of sexual abuse.
Judge Lewis A Kaplan told the former president that his right to be present at the trial would be revoked if he kept being disruptive.
After an initial warning, Ms Carroll's lawyer said Trump could still be heard making remarks to his lawyers, including "it is a witch hunt" and "it really is a con job".
"Mr Trump, I hope I don't have to consider excluding you from the trial," Judge Kaplan said in an exchange after the jury was excused for lunch, adding: "I understand you're probably eager for me to do that."
"I would love it," Trump shot back, shrugging as he sat between lawyers Alina Habba and Michael Madaio at the defence table.
"I know you would like it. You just can't control yourself in this circumstance, apparently," Judge Kaplan responded.
"You can't either," Trump muttered.
Just can't help himself it seems.
Although I read an article recently where there were suggesting that the constant antagonisation of the Judge was all part of a plan to try to get the Judge to over-react in his response giving them a pathway to a mis-trial on appeal.
Seems a bit "advanced" for Trump and his current troupe of "A-Grade" lawyers , but who knows..
God he is such a child.
He's trying to build his case against the judges in each of his cases (except Aileen Cannon) for appeals.
Similarly the judges in these cases are generally happy to let him dig his own graves. "I would love it" will sure go down poorly for his antics on appeal I think - provided he doesn't have another of his judges on appeal. Cannon meanwhile is doing her level best to make sure she doesn't have to criminally convict Trump of cut and dry criminal charges, least of all before election day. Maybe she's looking to take Clarence Thomas' seat.
Junior 2 football stuff, trying to rile your opponent and get him sent off. The opponent in this case, being the judge.
The Guardian are setting up a newsletter, if you want to follow all Tump's trials and lawsuits;
It’s a given that it is going to be that.
What is more evident is how low the votes were for him, regardless of the weather.
Funny how after 7+ years of the man in the public spotlight, people are still divining strategy where there's none; he's simply a belligerent septuagenarian incapable of impulse control or basic decorum. What a sulky little toddler he is.
