Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
Makes sense as mcd doing the punchestown dance festival on June bank holiday
Was great in its peak but changed direction in 2016 and has never been as good, they should have kept the live band stages and the Rootical tent, their biggest mistake was getting rid of the psytrance stage.
All Together Now teasing an announcement soon.
Seem to be rumours online that Life festival won't be on next year
Womens finals are over the 2 weeks after mens
Watched 20-25 minutes of her at EP a few years back. Didn't really get the fuss then remembered Thumper were playing Jerry Fish and headed over there. Much better. They did a great cover of Sabotage that night.
And replay if needed us scheduled for 10th august
All ireland final is final week of July
Oooh, Courtney Barnett? Very nice!
Probably worth signing up on their website for updates ahead of Friday in case of pre-sale cut-off
Hopefully they would announce morning Aus time, so we can all wait up all Thursday night for it....😀
'Update: December 6th . Things slowly seem to be getting serious. As oe24.at report , the announcement for the AC/DC tour next year is imminent. The Australians want to announce their tour dates for 2024 on Friday (December 8th), it says. Back in 2014, AC/DC announced their tour for the following year during exactly this period. According to sources from the Austrian portal, ticket sales will start next week.
Several concerts are planned for Germany - at least two performances in Munich. There are also rumors about performances in other German cities. Angus Young and Co. are also scheduled to perform in Vienna in the summer of 2024. A show in Dublin had already been confirmed by the Australian embassy in Ireland a few weeks ago . The wait for all fans will soon be over'
Mcd have applied for 16-18th august for that unannounced show
young or Young?
Definitely won't be free either way....😀
Last AI final in Croke Park next summer will be 2nd weekend in August
The young rock band will be free to play the following weekend
Aargh - I did all that but it won't let me in. Got as far as unreserved seats and it just wouldn't progress. I'll give it another bash more in hope than expectation. Thanks!
I legged it over after watching The Specials (and yes, some of Lada Gaga's mid afternoon set earlier). Didn't think I'd get to see them again.
Amazing, they played after that shít band The Ting Tings. Crowd disbursed, them and NIN what a freaking gig.
Yeah of course, hardly unique that way in fairness. It fills a gap in being a 1 day city festival with that sort of line up so say it could do well
Same can be said for PJ Harvey, Nick cave, the smile etc
I think their live gigs are a different experience in fairness. That said think for outdoor summer festival there's definitely bit more upbeat artists
Sure ya don't have to go to any of their gigs ;)
Apart from the Thievery Corporation I find the top level of acts pretty dull. The second grouping is full of gems. Consistently surprised by how such a small fest gets such good acts. Kudos to them.
That’s an excellent lineup. I struggle with Lankum’s recorded output but expect to be won over by them playing live. Mogwai amongst my fave acts, This is the Kit excellent in Galway a fortnight ago and the rest are at the very least an interesting bunch. Very decent price too.
Very good point. And hopefully after this cycle he’ll get the band back on the road.
A great mix of stuff there
Well done beyond the pale. Nice line up
Thank Christ for that 🤣🤣🤣
Just started listening to Lankum, to give it a fair go.
Appreciate that their albums are acclaimed, I just can't dig it. It would be a depressing sat night in kilmainham
Jane's Addiction playing Trinity June 28th
id love them to do an irish date
