Peterson isn’t a scientist. This may shock you, but he’s a doctor of psychology, not a medical doctor.
Peer review is very much so a part of the scientific process, results can be investigated and challenged in a public forum. Versus people claiming something and refusing to engage in any kind of scientific process. I think this is more a case of the results not suiting some people so being rejected.
Meanwhile Peterson just makes outrageous statements to rile. Tends to appeal to the same people who will happily deny the likes of climate change.

Science by consensus is not science. Would you have agreed with Galileo being shot down and discredited when the consensus was that the earth was flat and the sun revolves around it??
If somebody with accreditation that signed up to certain rules engages in breaches of those rules, for the credibility of the org they need to call out potential misconduct..

When Peterson is dealing directly with patients or teaching at university he most certainly isn’t a grifter.
But he no longer does either, afaik, he chose the lucrative world of anti woke grift instead. He’s left behind the world of proper academia, because academia doesn’t want him anymore.

I believe someone also made him a permanent bag which looks like the plastic bags but is made of some other material. So yes he has also gone down a technical "Bag for live" route on it too. I think he wore it on his Music Twitch Streams which I never watched because I have zero interest in his music work myself. So I might be wrong on that. But I do recall a few mentions of a more permanent single use bag.

I recently started listening to his Podcasts and new to Podcasts in general. His ones on Greek mythology were quite good. I don't enjoy his interviews as much - he feels the need to educate a liitle too much but maybe I have listened to enough of them.
Questioning climate modelling is fine, presenting evidence to support this from what is effectively a pro-capitalism/deregulation institute is well......
The Oil industry itself modelled the impact its industry would have on the environment in the 70's with a high degree of accuracy as proven by scientifica analysis since then.

I suspect you might have missed the point there. The point was not that Peterson is wrong to be questioning climate related issues.
The point was that it is a bit selective and unfair to suggest Blindboy should not be critiquing Peterson - because of a difference in qualifications - when Peterson himself critiques many people and topics with qualifications far outside his own.
It is a manifestation of the "Appeal to Authority" fallacy. That people with a qualification are somehow automatically right, or more right, if they discuss the topic of their qualification. It is not so. There is absolutely nothing wrong with someone who lacks qualifications in psychology, questioning something someone with those qualifications has said or done.
I have nothing much against Peterson. He has said some complete nonsense in the past for sure. But a lot of what he says I have little issue with, especially if it helps people lost in life to get back on the path. Here is the most recent interview (today) with him and I reckon there was only about 10 sentences in the whole interview where I thought he was talking Bull excrement.
