Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
it's €148.80 vs €123.80 including fees (€25 difference)
this was in the presale codes thread

I'd say Pink will sell out, would a second date be added, she puts on a great show, fantastic vocals
She's easily one of the absolute best live performers out there.
Well not vampire weekend as they are European exclusive to primavera
European festival exclusive*
Could hopefully have a stand alone gig somewhere.
Be nice if they returned to Trinity (although I guess this is a festival in a sense, is it?)
Trinity isn’t starting till end of June so doubt they would hang around europe for a month with no other festival shows.
maybe fairview
Bad flashback, but that Vampire Weekend gig at Trinity had (by a country mile) the worst crowd I've ever seen at a concert.
thats a lot but ive been there twice in the golden circle - your up beside the stage and have your own food , dinks and toilet area down the hill from the stand . on exit you have to go out the south circular entrance and walk back a bit, but its a much better experience
Really, thought it was a fun time.
Granted I did notice alot of people that probably were just for a sunny day out with background music
I'm sure they'll do standalone gigs around Europe hopefully.
Never been to Fairview.
Trinity is my fav city centre venue
TRNSMT 2024
Music was excellent, but ruined by a ton of insta huns and loafer wearing pr*icks chatting and taking photos through whole gig.
Gerry is still a thing
2019 was his year
Still will be a good gig in Scotland the old transmit gig he did was very good !!
Well there are 3 free nights between Dublin and Liverpool and they are starting the presales a week before general sale so yes I'd say the plan is to sell the Thursday out in presale then add the Friday.
It was an enjoyable gig for sure. Like with any outdoor summer show, quite a few along for the pints and craic, but it was a fairly respectful crowd I thought who got more and more into it as it went along.
Would love to see them again in Trinity or elsewhere even if it's not the same since Rostam left.
I haven't seen too much mention of The Eagles for here.
Seeing as it's the farewell tour arent we likely to see them again in 2024?
aviva wasn’t a sell out last time and not many venue options for them
MCD is planning on two concerts for 16 and 18 August in Croke Park
So all those recent AC/DC rumours might come to something so?
I don’t think that’s two concerts on 16th and 18th, it’s one in between the 16th and 18th and the second is Coldplay on the 2nd September.
Speaking of the first, interesting post on X:
MCD have applied for a license for both the Thursday and Friday which pretty much guarantees a second night.
I read that wrong.
It will probably be AC/DC
What about poor Mick Jagger
He needs the $$$$
Croker in august will be almost certainly AC/D.C retirement tour show
I'm guessing the 'maximum 3 permitted non sporting events per year' is obsolete nowadays
Maybe all parties have agreed behind closed doors
Papal Garth of Ireland the man who done it
same weekend as electric picnic
Aviva and Croke park had no concerts this year, hence the leeway.
for Garth brooks it was noted that covid years meaning no shows was a factor in extra days being allowed.
I doubt 5 shows a year in both stadiums will become the norm
Ffruit have Nelly Furtado,
Really good grab
