Tiguan/Qashqai/Q3

Hi all

I'm looking for a higher seating position.

I have up to 15k to spend.

Requirements would be reliability, economical and ease of running costs.

Hoping to get 3-5 years out of it.

I have been looking at 2012-2015 in the Tiguan, Qashqai and came a cross a low mileage Q3.

Not sure what to buy, I drive 40k kilometres a year.

Any thoughts and thanks

Not much wrong width either. The Tiguan and Q3 would be more premium. The Q3 is smailler and may be more pricey if things go wrong relative to VW, but they are all of the same family. The Qashqai is a best seller for good reason, its a great allrounder.

I suggest you test each of them to see what suits.

Also consider the Ford Kuga.

Bought a Rav4, the qashqai was the worst yoke I ever drove, went for a 171 Rav4 with the bmw engine, who knows whether it's a good or bad move!

Qashqai is honestly one of the worst cars ever put together. Massive rear axle corrosion issues and the front suspension is practically made of chocolate.

@OP KIA Sportage you could get one and still have 3 or 4 years warranty on it maybe as they come new with a 7 year warranty. Great cars.

Thanks i had ruled the sportage after talking to local mechanics, chocolate gearbox and short lived turbos apparently
