Makes sense, I assume T2 (the system Euro payments are fine through) was open yesterday since it was just a bank holiday here. Probably would have gone in today if the transfer was the other way around
Does anyone know the story with the Irish ibans? My wife and I both got an email in January of this year saying we're going to be switched, I was moved over a few months later but my wife hasn't been some 10 months later almost.
We did try to ask on their chat a few months ago but had to give up in the end trying to get an answer.
Is there and ETA for all to be moved over?
I transfer by using my debit card number (PTSB) . Takes seconds no matter when I do it (including weekends).
Is there any benefit to doing a transfer using ibans?
Not really unless you don't have a card (i.e. no current account) with the bank. For instance you only hold deposit accounts with the bank and don't pay any banking fees. I'm in that position with AIB and PTSB which is handy if I need to lodge cash or cheque (only do that with AIB my ptsb accounts might be online only id have to look) which I cannot do with Revolut.
Dont' suppose anyone has any information on them adding more banks that they can link to? I'd quite like a credit card from them for emergencies but with my other banking being EBS and N26 I can't link an account which is annoying
I have no current account with any of the Irish banks. I get wages etc paid into my PTSB deposit account and keep my Revolut & N26 accounts topped up.
I avoid most fees that way.
I get paid into revolut and out to other accounts. I have ptsb but its 0.01% thieves
Now that Revolut have Irish IBANs - I might look into switching my wages to it.
Did it about 6 months ago making Revolut my main bank account now - havnt looked back.
Same for me, got the email months ago about the irish IBAN but i am still on the LT IBAN
Revolut is now also opening a Dutch Branch to allow customers in the Netherlands to have an NL IBAN.
They claim to have approx. 600,000 customers in the Netherlands.
They already were participating in the local ideal online payment method, so this is another step into broadening their services to that customer base.
However, rumor has that there will be no free account anymore and it will cost some basic fees.
Just signed up for ultra with my non irish account. Dropping savings into a 5.4% dollar account with returns given daily. The other benefits are great IMO for the small outlay. Unlimited lounge acces, FT premium (60 quid a month worth), Tinder gold.
😆 🤣
There is a lot of fluff given for free. Virtual cards, disposable cards, even vaults could easily be behind a paywall. Personally all I use Revolut for is to send mates drink money and small (lunch) purchases. I wouldn’t exactly be running to subscribe.
Not really a perk. The DAA lounge is awful
You're in luck, so - the DAA lounge isn't included!
Does any one know where to find details on the current cover offered, value limits etc for the purchase protection? I am purchasing a new iPhone soon and was planning to upgrade to premium to purchase it and cancel the phone insurance I have on current phone rather than roll it over since revolut premium is cheaper and has some additional perks also (even if of limit use in many cases).
I seem to remember 1,500 euro being the limit for premium before but can't see details anymore or on what is covered etc.
I exported it from my app here's rhe summary pdf.
Anyone get the latest email from revolut about domestic and international charges.
It seems they are going to start charging 20 cent a transfer (assuming I'm reading the email correctly). It seems a mad move considering the free quick transfers are it's unique selling point for most.
Am I picking this up wrong or will I be leaving revolut in the new year.
It's a fee for a 'payment directed to a supported non-Revolut card number'. Transfers are still free
Does anyone know who to distinguish the sort code and account number in an LT IBAN ?
Had a client today and couldn't figure out what was what

No it was the sort and account 8 meant.
With an Irish IBAN it's easy to distinguish the sort and account number. Couldn't figure it on the LT one
Thanks. That should do it
No idea why anyone would need a sort code in this century... below explains the LT iban.
Its 0.7% or 20 cent, whichever is higher!
But is it on revolut to revolut transfers? Surely not
Card transfers
Do you have a link to this information?
