Russia have massive resources boosted by anti western alliances and propaganda a win over Ukraine is now a win over the west
Ukrainian resources may not withstand as its alliances are not as committed, no threats of boot on the ground or even a presence in the black sea, to wary of escalation
Longer the war and its occupation continues the harder it will return to natural borders, advantage invader.
Russia has fought many war more than any other and in the second ww they through bodies same as they are doing now without a peep from its citizens many who still holiday abroad seen them proudly flag waving.
Regardless, the UAF counter offensive has been a lot slower and more bloody than many of us (myself included) thought it would be.
The Russians are very good at fortifying their position and digging in. Now UAF is making progress, but the West must keep supplying them with what they need.
What language are you translating your message from?
In any case, what some people are saying here and elsewhere, Russia has lost already. It has lost its initial military objectives of taking over Kiev and replacing Ukraine's leadership. It has lost Europe's energy market. Its armed forces lost all credibility; they are not a modern fighting force many feared them to be. Russia went from an aspiring world power to a weak terrorist state, and it is in no position to dictate its wishes to anyone, on the contrary, it is reduced to begging North Korea and Iran for shells and drones. Pathetic.
Maybe a few drones needed here to help our 'friends' to go back home with their flags.
^ the aim of Russian propaganda:
Create confusion and ensure that you stop questioning and stop trusting reality and absorb anything that is not a conspiracy or a lie.

Judging these reports its just a matter of , which one you prefer . They have little bearing on the reality . I like the any day now Russia will surrender as its been said her for over a year .
Putin is fleeing any day it will surrender .
Ukraine is running out of time

”Why import invented horrors from abroad when our country has so many of our own”
Russian newspaper editor (who better stay away from balconies) on the unveiling of Stalin statue at a children’s park
I said quite effectively
They're dressing it in your post as purely anti Irish, American, Western tradition.
But for a country as weird as Russia there's a domestic shaman pagan element that has the Russian Church freaked out and thus the Kremlin in losing control.
It's been on the cards to ban Halloween in Russia for a few years now lead by the Church that pays mercenary military groups to fight in Ukraine.
Them Dastardly Anglo Saxons
The tie is Croatian though. Cravat, Croat.
Interesting to see Putin (and most other leaders) wears a 3 piece suit, an invention of the British.
Did they capture the flag with the drone?
Or by removal do they mean destroyed?
It is obviously a serious situation, people are fighting and dying but sometimes in war there are catch-22 moments of absurdity and something about sending a drone to remove a flag strikes me as such.
Edit - watched the video, they destroyed the flag with a munition.
Report from the Ukraine side that claims the line holds at Avdiyivka and that there was just a flag planted temporarily on the edge of the slag heap that was later removed by Ukraine's armed forces using a drone.
What's with the attitude? Where did I say effectively?
Don’t forget the darkest day of them all the “Д^3”
Remember your Dead Daddy Day
Tell a generation of Russian kids that spending a fun night playing dress-up and collecting treats with your friends is a *bad thing*.
Yea Putin...that seems like an excellent idea to win over younger Russians. But as those Babuskas were saying, there's plenty of good old Russian holidays for them to enjoy, such as:
And everyone's favourite:
Yes, the Russian's have conquered that now person free slag heap, which now sits in no mans land, quite effectively.
Not by post though which described an important change to the battlefield. Grow up.
Cue every country bordering Russia declaring Halloween a national holiday. 😂
It's hitting home of anyone pretending to wear blood and guts and thinking it's a frivolity, masked over with their continued isolationist wishlist.
Dear leader has not approved Halloween.
In meantime actual advances
I've had similar thoughts myself about the levels of men and machinery the Russians are sending into battle.
I see reports of 1000s of men killed in a day, but wonder are these experienced soldiers or poorly trained fresh soldiers.
We laugh at WW2 Russian tanks and trucks but if they can get the job done that's all that matters.
I'm rooting for Ukraine but the creeping Russian territorial gains are worrying.
I'd love to see an analysis of Russia's capabilities as percentage of what they can can dig out of storage/museums.
Hopefully the recent ATACAMS strikes and the impending deliveries of F16s make a real difference.
My €'s are on Belbek airbase
This is absolutely hilarious 🤣
Reports of a big boom that rattled a lot of windows across Sevastopol.
Be interested in the morning to see what was hit.
Russia is trying to stretch the Ukrainians again,I wouldn't be risking big numbers to hold a slag heap , Ukraine doesn't need another bakmuth yes they done a Fair amount of damage to Wagner forces but also suffered heavy losses themselves, it's going to a case of who can keep finding the numbers, and how much artillery the Ukrainians can keep up with demands of keeping the Russians back, the current situation in Washington isn't going to help either
Slapheap thing is not a good sign. But both sides have been at that heap for a while now. Although some reports suggest the UAF were slow to evacuate and suffered heavy losses, which is never good.
unlikely it’s true given he has no heart
So further reports suggest Russia bombed the hill very hard forcing the Ukrainians to evacuate their tunnel trenches. They were too slow and suffered some losses.
Russian soldiers while they have placed their flag which has now been destroyed on top didn't take up positions as the previous Ukrainian positions were either too damaged or destroyed making this a no man's land rather then a stronghold for Russia to launch further attacks.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out as Russian attacks have reduced dramatically the past 2 days while they regroup. Fingers crossed for a positive next few weeks.
"Kremlin denies" = true. So now they can tell his double to stand down and they can all fuk off.
