I got that a couple of months ago too. I just ran with it.
Quick one we were due to have a regular transfer from our Revolut sole accounts to AIB joint account on 28th July, 1 for me and 1 for my wife. Neither went through now I seen this was a known issue from this thread.
I can see this missed transfer in my scheduled payment section for next month, can anyone advise whose transfer didn't go through if future scheduled transfers have been going through ok since?
They had issues with outbound transfers on 28/29th. Since been resolved. You may need to manually make the transfer to catch up.
Seems they are having topup issues today.

Sorry should have said we manually did that transfer instead.
Have another transfer doing the exact same thing on Thursday so I suppose will see then if all goes through ok.
Thanks
I'll know on Friday. I didn't bother setting them up again. I'm guessing that the advice from the helpdesk to set up transfers again is some kind of ultra caution, and isn't actually necessary.
Do they pay for missed payments penalties I wonder? Second time it's happened to me since Christmas. Nor great.
Was there a communication from them?
Can notifications be set up for missed scheduled payments?
Been buying stuff from adverts.ie for years and would never buy something to be posted off someone without good feedback and an active account, however, I have been scammed for €250 by someone who seems to have hacked into an account with good feedback and asked me to revolut them the money. Upon paying the money on relovut it looks like a name of Russian origin (sickeningly) on the invoice. Adverts.ie took down the account and nothing was sent obviously. My bank refused the chargeback... I suppose my odds of getting any of this money back from Revolut is near zero...they are 'investigating' it at the moment and all the evidence I have gathered for them show it's clearly a scammer.
Be extra vigilant buying stuff from online marketplaces, folks.
You voluntarily sent the money to them, there is no way Revolut will return the funds to you for your own mistake I'm afraid.
Caveat emptor 🤷♂️
People always take a bit of a risk buying stuff to be posted from online marketplaces, not everyone can meet in person. I'm not sure I'd call this a mistake but I will be a lot more vigilant going forward and use paypal with buyer protection rather than revolut (I've no access to paypal at the moment due to some phone porting after moving to billpay with 3 which is another issue/story). I would have hoped revolut would have some fraud/scam insurance as a registered bank in Ireland.
Hi ,apologies if this has been covered, I just can't seem to find Brazilan Reais currency wallet , I have uk ,usd ausd etc etc, am I missing something or is Brazilian currency not an option? I know Revolut has just recently been rolled out in Brazil.
Anyone living in NZ on here?
Theres reports Revolut are starting to charge 1% to top up there and will start the same in the US at end of August.
If thats coming here Im looking elsewhere now. Feck that nonsense.
Same, and its driving me insane. The requirement for a lock screen is also why I don't use google pay.
But I do use Revolut, so I have set up the lock screen as required. I also had to turn on my location (which I also hate) so I could use "trusted locations" to keep my phone unlocked at home, but that's not working for some reason.
I've read online there is no way around the lock screen requirement. Seriously thinking of dumping Revolut for this. None of my other banking apps (PTSB, Paypal, Credit Union etc) require this, as having to put in a six digit code even when I'm NOT using Revolut, and every time I want to make a call or read a message is driving me crazy.
That sounds head wrecking
Is this in the July 25th app update?
If so I dont think I'll bother updating
Edit: seems I have this but never noticed as using finger print scanner on side of phone. I dont mind this actually in case someone robs my phone. But yeah putting in a pin every time you open / switch to the app would be a dose.
Expecting a refund from AA insurance . It was credited it to my account today . Does anyone have any experience with waiting times on this ?

Looks like there is fees on credit card topup in NZ and but not on debit / bank.
I'm not sure of the date, but within the last week, yeah.
Its an absolute headwreck. Not only did I have to add a lock screen, change my passcode, turn on location, but I also had to verify my identity via selfie, again.
Its also doing annoying things like when you go to check your card details (eg. to enter on a payment site) it requests a six digit verification code which they send to your phone before they will let you see the card number.
Anybody ever have problems with payments not going through? It keeps on saying problem with chip or no chip detected. Do I need a new card?
Yeah it's load of shite how much crap U have to do now. It's ruining the smoothness and ease of an actual modern smart phone that your constantly entering pins or something similar to open everything.
Outside the EU the ATM provider levies their own charge. The foreign ATM will show their fee on screen before you agree to the withdrawal.
I've had the issue recently with my non-revolut credit card. I called the provider up and they're sending a new card.
Earlier today I was able to put the pin in on a card reader that initially rejected the chip and asked me to reinsert the card but it didn't read straight away instead it asked me to confirm the card was in.
That's mostly irrelevant for Revolut though. If you go into: cards > the physical card you want > settings > reset contactless limit (near the bottom) it should sort you out for small amounts. Anything larger you'll need to use Google pay or equivalent.
That has nothing to do with the discussion that was done there, the discussion was not about ATM fees, it was about our Government demanding 12 cent ATM withdraw tax for each withdraw in the republic (ATM withdraws out the republic do not attract that tax).
Also, ATM's inside the EU can charge you for ATM withdraws, go to Germany and try to get money with your Revolut Mastercard, you will get hit there too. Just because in Ireland banks are not allowed to charge for ATM withdraws from other banks customers, which does not mean that in other EU countries they don't.
Visa has a rule that if an ATM does not charge for their own visa customers than they can't charge other customers but the banks get around that by limiting the amounts, flat out rejecting the card or other tricks.
My transfers that were scheduled for today progressed as normal.
The advice from the help desk folks to cancel transfers and set them up again was wrong.
I'm aware of what 2FA is. I just think all of these changes are overkill.
It's the compulsory phone lock that bugs me the most.
How best to get customer services help on something. I sent a US wire transfer at the end of July. No sign of it on Revolut end. Their customer service is useless and just keep closing chats. I've provided all of the wire reference details and I still get "well, we can't see it."
The originating bank have tried numerous recalls that don't go anywhere and they are blaming Revolut. This issue only seems to have arisen since the recent Revolut changes. Myself and colleagues have used this route before and no issues but since their changes nothing is working.
So frustrated
My Revolut card has never worked in an ATM. It says that the card type is not suitable. Anyone any ideas?
You may have ATM withdrawals disabled in the app.
ATM disabled as above or else what happened me is the card came not functioning correctly, I went round in circles with support till they finally sent me out a new one and its been fine since, was getting the same error as you when i tried using it
Mine used to work but it dosen't recognise the card now in ATMs.
Go to your card in the app, and then card settings.
Make sure "ATM withdrawals" is switched on.
Also, the "Location based Security" button can cause your card to be blocked if you are outside your usual area. I had that problem before. I have mine switched off now.
Kids pocket money went in this morning so that's back to normal anyway.
