In my book banning someone who doesn't step over the line in a boorish, insulting way is too much. Just my opinion. Even if you're repeating a mantra, I don't think you can call repeating a belief trolling. There's no malintent in it if you believe it. We all have different styles of posting too.

Things have changed A LOT between RT and RTE since the verbal agreement re continuing in radio only eg all the dumping onRTE by both at the PAC
I imagine it will be difficult for him though as it seems like his identity is completely wrapped up with being an RTE presenter. He doesn’t know anything else.

Well if and its a big if that RTE take him back they can name their price and say to him we will pay you €100K a year but you must be staff.
As I said weeks ago, RTE should not confirm they will no longer work with any contractors. So either sign up or move on

Reading stuff from the papers? Half of that stuff has to do with dodgy dealings, misuse of public funds etc. on a daily basis.

The poor, relatively lowly paid staff on that show will spend their days answering irate correspondence from less than gruntled license fee payers.
There's no guarantee that the guests they invite on will want to be on with Tubridy.
That's even IF any of the radio staff will want to work with him.

Not the impression I got at all when the story broke, more like disgust at not only the high fees he's on but stating he'd taken a pay cut like everyone else when he knew bloody well he was getting it the same way through a back channel. I knew RT and NK would be utterly coached in what to say before yesterday's performance but I did not think they would be stupid enough to keep firing back the same lines over and over even when they made no logical sense and made them look like idiots. They never thought that they may need to evolve the excuses and lies.
Members of the PAC have been given an interim report from Grant Thornton which shows that the published pay of RTÉ’s top ten earners (save for the Ryan Tubridy case) has been correct from 2010 to 2022. Work to certify the 2008 and 2009 figures is ongoing.
The report given to PAC, ahead of the appearance of senior RTÉ figures at the committee tomorrow, is separate to the ongoing report being conducted into the circumstances of Ryan Tubridy’s pay disclosures for 2017-19
Kevin Bakhurst will tell TDs tomorrow that it is a source of frustration to RTÉ that “there are gaps in evidence and missing personal testimonies that could irrefutably evidence all aspects of the chain of events” about the arrangements of Ryan Tubridy’s contract
However, “a number of things are beyond dispute”, one of which is that “RTÉ should not be brokering or facilitating commercial arrangements with its contractors” and that “the level of fees in contracts of this nature are too high”
100k is based on him doing 5 hours of radio a week and 100K a year is being generous.

The repetition of the answers been provided was due to the lack of imagination of our very highly paid TD's and senators.

Rubbish. The Irish people are not Americans who will go up and start abusing people, apart from the odd fruit loop but the chances of him meeting them in Killiney(which I think he lives in) is minimal.
In regards to letters :-) who even sends letters anymore. They are reduced to only used for legal documents. Who are they writing to? Ryan Tubs, RTE? they won't have his home address so how is he getting them? is RTE delivering post from the office out to him?
Even my mother who is 70+ doesn't write letters anymore and sends emails.
It's not logical at all. It playing the "mental health" card which they all play when the **** hits the fan. He was always going to fire up something like that to get some sympathy.
