How would the barter company be audited? They are a private UK firm and presumably PAC has no jurisdiction there. Presumably the RTE commercial department already has details of the transactions that went through that company but if the transactions weren't processed through the normal rte financial systems, the auditors didn't miss them. I'd be very surprised if RTE credit cards were not included in the annual audit.
Davy Fitz is actually one of the creators of the show iirc, actually came up with the idea.
Think him and other creators have sold the idea worldwide too.
