Who better to root out the scams than somebody who already walked the corridors and already knows where to start looking.
Yet, can you trust them to highlight everything or will they omit a few pertinent facts to cover their own arse and a few of their mates arses.
Despite what you might think Fair City attracts a large audience. So regarding how bad the acting it has a loyal following. The only reason why I wouldn't like to see it scrapped is because many of the so called actors would struggle to get work elsewhere.

It's a godawful production when directly compared acting skills wise and plotlines with the UK soaps.
At least it’s giving employment - local employment. Programming like this is crucial for a national broadcaster- regardless of the standard. I don’t watch it. But soaps are huge

From my understanding there's loads and loads of script writers. They clearly don't communicate with one another because characters can often have personality transplants over night. I say they cost a packet.

Common in that exist with major media outlets here such as radio stations and other channels but as Gavan Reilly said on the news they are primarily used for funding on air competitions/ticket giveaways.
also as RTE is largest broadcaster here the amount going through its barter would be far greater to a multiple than say the likes of radio stations here.
