Thanks I did wonder that and only got paid to Revolut for the first time this month....will try again in a few months.
Salary was previously paid to N26 and couldn't link that when it was paid there so changed it.
Does anybody know the details to pay an AIB credit card from a different AIB account thats not linked to it? Thanks

that’s the IBAN for non-AIB accounts, but it’s going to go into the same holding account anyways.
Anyone know what happens to the <18 accounts if you cancel your Plus membership after 12 months? I’ve two but don’t really need the other benefits of the Plus account at the moment and would like to cancel it before renewal if it didn’t affect the kids accounts.
Could Anyone please advise how I go about getting an account open for a 17 year old if I give approval. No info online on how to do this, we currently have a <18 account but only linked to one parents account so would be great if both parents could transfer into it.
did you ask revolut through the chat?
AFAIK you can only have one <18 account per regular account unless you're on a paid plan with Revolut
@Qrt Yes asked on chat no reply and couldn’t get an agent. Will try again. Tried opening an account but It gets rejected as I.D is under 18. Yes I know u can only have one child linked to one parents account, we currently have this done, but from the above wording it appears that once a child is over 16, with parents consent a child over 16 can have a stand alone account themselves. As is the case with Irish banks anyway, I.E Bank staff doing the rounds in schools and getting parental consent on the account opening forms by way of parents signature. Just wondering if anyone managed this with Revolut as both parents have Revolut and could transfer.
Three salary payments was my experience. Rejected for card when I applied after two payments but tried again the day after my third payment and was accepted.
I found
I found that I had to unlink and relink my AIB account before the Pay Later was enabled.
Can someone please give the steps for paying a credit card via an IE Revolut account, including where to add the reference.
Many thanks!
If your credit card is from AIB, you’re out of luck.
Bank of Ireland
Haven’t done it for BOI myself, but it should be a bank transfer to the account nominated by BOI with either your 16 digit card number or your account number (if BOI have such a thing) in the reference field.
Check the BOI website for more details, try a test transfer for a fiver to see how it works.
The only place I can see with somewhere to put a reference is the 'Send International' option.
I'd have assumed it was Bank or Card Transfer options I should be using?
you’ll need to put the reference in at the payment stage. It won’t let you save it when adding the payee like other banks do.
Perfect. Thank you
Anybody have any idea how long it takes to get changed to an Irish IBAN? I contacted like 2 weeks ago as I want to set up a joint account but it needs to be a Irish IBAN
Husband and son got their Irish IBANs about 6 weeks ago. I'm still waiting.
Previous to getting an Irish Iban I could open the app click on my non revolut bank card and transfer money in instantly. Now with an Irish Iban it redirects to my BOI account and goes through the steps to transfer money but it isn't instant any more, it can take up to two days. Is this the norm now ?
The time they give publicly is that it can take up to two months after you get the email saying you will be moved to the Irish account.
Seems some people in this thread were switched within days of the email though so it looks like there is a range
If you haven't gotten the email yet they won't tell you when you will from my experience
This. I got the email about a month ago and haven't been switched yet. I imagine I'll be switched in the next few weeks.
No. I have an Irish IBAN and can lodge money from my non Revolut debit card in seconds.
Anyone having any issue depositing money to their account? I contacted the online chat centre this morning and my account is completely blocked with no way of contacting them
Pay mine from Revolut
Use the BIC and IBAN on the back of your credit card statement. Your full card number needs to go in the ref field.
I got an email on Monday saying I would be migrated so looks like they are just taking their time to get around to everybody. So we can ignore their public statements that they have completed the migration of all their personal users to Irish IBANs. It's clearly still ongoing.
Weird I got the email January 23rd.
Missus has been transferred and hasn't been on Revolut as long as me either
Has anyone seen the car insurance option in the app yet?
I think I would be opening a chat with them in the app in that case. Even that email says two months from the date of the email
Anybody having problems adding money via BoI Debit Card?
