Where you getting that?
Available at 10bet and livescorebet
Yeah, in the 'Challenges/Logs' sub-forum here.
Nice shout, squeaky bum time there at the end
Thanks I’ll have to check it out. I see the hurling tips link on the racing post website wasn’t working this week again
Thanks thought they had threw it away
Roscommon +6 against Dublin looks like value to me. Roscommon finished 3rd in D1, beat Mayo in Castlebar and only lost to Galway by 4. Granted Dublin are at home and on paper they still have some of the greats playing but they're nowhere near Jim Gavin's team and I fancy the Rossies to run them very close
Great shout
Kildare are plus 6 as well this weekend might be worth a few quid.
Hurling double for the weekend
Wicklow to win Rackard (by far and away the best team in it). I know it's a knockout match and weird things can happen, but Wicklow are almost Joe McDonagh standard imo
Monaghan to win Lory Meagher (best team in the comp). Were robbed last year of a place in the final due to a points deduction for bringing an ineligible player off the bench in a match. I'd expect them to win comfortably
1.42/1
Also doing same double but with Monaghan beating the -3 Handicap
2.39/1
Christy Ring Final I do THINK Meath will win but will avoid adding them in. They had a great league (albeit comfortable in 2A) and did what they needed to do in the Round Robin of the Christy Ring. They're rightly favourites but I'd fear burnout a small bit for them, so won't add them. Meath won their Round Robin match against Derry by 2 points for what it's worth. On the flipside, Derry have put massive scores up in a lot of matches
Derry -3 looks the best of the footballing bets to me - Donegal had an awful league, lost their manager, were brutal in the 1st half against Clare where they were let off the hook. Derry haven't been as good as last year so far and obviously lost their manager as well but the draw against Monaghan means top spot could well be decided on scoring difference so I think they'll beat the spread here comfortably.
Will also do a small acca (~16/1) on these four just for interest:
Kerry -7
Clare +6
Mayo -8
Waterford
If you haven't placed that yet, take Kerry out of it. Something is wrong this year in the camp and they're well off the pace. Cork will be hopping in PUC too.
I fancy Dublin to put up a huge score v Kildare and think it could be double scores by the end of it
Already on I'm afraid, it's a very very small bet though so it won't bankrupt me!!
When you say "something wrong in the camp", do you think there's something going on behind the scenes or just a general malaise?
For me, I think the loss of Moran is showing this year and unless they come up with a plan to bypass midfield (which is possible in CP tbf), they might struggle to retain the AI. Might be too short a timeframe to do it in but they could go ultra defensive and just leave Clifford +1 up front and they'd beat most teams.
Edit: I no longer place bets on Kildare, just when you think they'll get hammered, they do well and vice versa
Is Tipp @ 8/11 against Waterford in Tailteann not buying money?
I know Tipp have been really bad this year, but surely they'd beat Waterford? (Neutral venue)
I thought that initially too but even the winners have only a very small chance of progressing (Leitrim beating Wexford by a point or two plus Tipp winning by ~12 or Waterford winning by ~3) - based on that, Tipp may have already thrown in the towel while Waterford may look at it as a chance of ending the season on a high and maybe even progressing to a prelim QF
Game not yet over but good shout
Wicklow and Monaghan won
Pity Monaghan didn’t cover the handicap but good to have a winner
Meath well on their way to winning their match. Annoyed in hindsight I didn’t add them but wasn’t comfortable!
I just realised I didn't respond to your other post. I haven't heard of anything actually wrong within the camp. But something is definitely up. Maybe a hangover from last year? I dunno. I was expecting a close one today and Cork still had chances to win it.
Cliffords maybe could’ve done with a break?
I would agree after they lost their mam especially. But I can see it from both sides too. I'd imagine that was discussed within the family and she'd have asked them not to stop playing. But it can't be easy for them. And they had a long road with Fossa after winning the All Ireland.
But yeah, I'd agree they could both do with a break.
Nice tips on the hurling there. Wicklow 4 down at halftime but good in the second half and won well, Donegal goal right at the end brought it back to a 2 point margin. Meath nearly blew a big lead but held on. And Monaghan by 2 also
Good shout 👍
Really fancy Derry today, even putting a small bet on them - 5
Derry -3 v Donegal looks like good value. 11/10.
Also going to have a nibble on Leitrim to beat Wexford. 10/3.
Fermanagh -4 the only bet for me this weekend; while Fermanagh aren't in brilliant form, I think Laois are in a bad enough way at the moment
Not even close 😒
Limerick/Kilkenny double at 15/8 pp
Also a few bob on both to win by 1-3 points at 25/1 pp
Congrats, I liked the look of this earlier but didn't get around to going to the bookies, great tip. And what a way to do it!
Didn't back it myself but nice shout, esp sweet in the circumstances
Doing a Connacht treble of Mayo, Galway & Roscommon all to win @ 1.2
Small bet on Antrim - 5 and Cavan - 2 also
