There'll be no shortage of russian federation military veterans - looking for either an income / career or just a way out of their small town / small territory lives,
And there'll likely be an increase in demand ,wether from breakaway Ru states, or Russian strong men looking to protect what theyve got ..

Yes, it seems like while Ukraine have problems with Russian air attacks, they are hitting really hard Russian logistics on the ground, and that's critical for the Russians. Their entire logistics are rail based. Russian front line defensive and attacking are really going to see a very big increase in "Ammunition Starvation". And Bakhmut is still reeling them into the grinder.
Yes, but it seems that when other machine guns of that time were overheating and could not be used, the old reliable Maxim kept its cool ( pun intended 😊) due to being water cooled, and kept firing. In any case they were a pretty lethal weapon in their day.

For some reason Russians and their supporters are absolutely obsessed with this idea of Poland invading and taking large chunks of west Ukraine. I've heard this personally from Russians and from the first weeks of this, just after it started to go bad for Moscow when her Kiev "feint" went south.
