with Russian forces on their way to Kiev.
You have to start realising what you're typing before you post it. That's an absolutely fantastical interpretation of what could happen with 0 groundings in reality and undermines whatever other weak points you're trying to make.
Not exactly
They'll get to Kyiv to sign the surrender Treaty, accept responsibility and pay reparations to Ukraine.
I think a delay until the summer is most likely (although they say they nearly ready so maybe they feel ready?). Also the weather conditions aparently don't suit right now.
In order to keep up morale by talking up a counter offensive they have created a bit of a rod for their own back here.
If they delay too much they look weak. If they go too soon it's an extraordinary risk. Also they have some weaponry and tanks still arriving from the west. They'd want as much as possible in place beforehand as they can get.
It doesn't feel like we are talking days until some major offensive starts.
Things are difficult for normal Ukrainians. That said, theyve shown they are made of tough stuff.
The conventional thinking would be to encourage talk of no offensive, spread lots of false rumours & plan a surprise attack - not easy in today's high tech world
That's the thing, they lived through wars and Soviet occupation, and some people will always tell us about corruption ,but the people survived day and day out,
Even after the invasion 9 years ago they didn't break hence the reason putin went all out to destroy Mariupol
Before I heard about Pernod Ricard resuming the sale of Jameson and Beefeater in Russia, I assumed that sanctions by the UK, the EU and the US prohibited Western businesses from selling their products in Russia.
Part 5 of Lindybeige's excellent interview series with returning AFU Foreign Legion volunteer, Joe McDonald.
I'm convinced he was never there or to the capacity he claims
Not true unfortunately,
Too many companies doing business as usual still in Russia:
Did the Brits learn nothing from the Yanks
That was learned over a decade ago. The Hard way. Why are people making the same mistake in 2023
Perhaps their new offensive will smash through their rotten set up and lead to a complete collapse.
It's Ukrainan and digital camouflage actually works ,the biggest issue with what was called ACU which was a cut of uniform rather than the camouflage it's self ,was it was hoped it would work in all environments it didn't ,in areas it stood out like a sore thumb, others it was quite effective,
Digital camouflage works brilliant when its done properly prime example is USMC marpat both digital and woodland, and desert variants marpat works great in all environments both here and abroad,
The digital camouflage on Ukrainian vehicles isn't designed to hide vehicles but more of a brand of a modem military force
Czech president Petr Pavel on ammunition shortages in Ukraine.
as reported by České Noviny from a press briefing following Czech President Petr Pavel’s return from a visit to Ukraine.
According to Pavel, Ukraine is suffering from a severe lack of ammunition required to launch a counteroffensive and regain control of its territory occupied by Russia
According to him, the Russians have an advantage in artillery main guns and rocket launchers. Still, their firing ammunition advantage is four to five times greater than that of the Ukrainians.
What about the vast amounts of money, equipment and ammunition that the west promised Ukraine. That along with the sanctions on Russia should surely mean that Ukraine vastly outnumbers Russia in equipment and ammunition. Something doesn’t add up.
Why ?
They have been promised the sun , moon and stars, but that takes time to materialise ,they have 98% of the vehicles promised and some of the air defense systems promised, this is why I think the West maybe saying hold off on launching the counter offensive till they have everything ready ,they were promised 1 million artillery shells and so only received a fraction, the french are currently blocking a plan to purchase and make artillery shells and other ammunition unless it's only made and bought inside the EU,
The biggest problem now is we keep hearing that ammunition production has been massively ramped up but yet we know not happening as claimed, especially now we know the french are blocking production and purchasing, unfortunately after the fall of the Soviet union military spending fell by the wayside in Europe, and in a lot of cases many companies disappeared and weren't replaced ,now only a handful of companies produce large volumes of heavy artillery in the EU,
But people will come along and start ranting about bots or Russian propaganda because they don't understand the basics of whats happening in Europe and Nato when it comes to weapons and production of weapons and military vehicles, there's a lot of burocracy involved behind the scenes
The policy is pretty clear at this stage: give them enough to take the fight to Russia, but not enough for outright victory. Whether it's fear of Putin's response or just that a long war does more damage to Russia than a short war, who knows. But outright Ukrainian victory does not seem to be the highest aim.
A year ago some here were predicting the Russians would run out of ammo well before the end of 2022.
Only a few weeks ago others were confidently predicting Crimea back in Ukrainian hands by summer 2023.
The rest of us predicted a bloody stalemate. Unfortunately, we were right
Speak after the panzer fists roll
Some folks here, take note
Means absolutely nothing in the scheme of things in Ukraine,
Basically go team USA actually this comes to mind .....wwf promo's from the 80s
The interesting point for me was when he said the fascists of the world know a certain percentage of people are dumb enough to follow them. It is the foolish and indifferent, in large numbers, who enable dictators.
If in 6 months from now Russia has been driven right out of the country and Crimea is Ukrainian again I'll be delighted to be wrong.
But I doubt it.
The only hope for that is Putin being killed and I don't see where that's coming from either.
Just look at modern America ,
The place is a total basketcase who could see an internal conflict in the next few decades the way things are currently going
We won't hear about anyone moving against Putin from inside Russia until it is over and done.
Yes, and Ireland too. And the rest of the world. Propaganda plays a big part in this. On many levels. Everything is being torn down.
So this news was circling
then,
Russians trying to cut off a UAF offensive before it begins?
Reports of large explosions seems accurate.
This could be a long night for Ukraine.
Time will tell if this is true Faytuks News Δ on Twitter: "UPDATE: Reports that 17 russian Tu-95Ms bombers have taken off" / Twitter
