Got an email today looking for my Tax Identification Number for tax reporting purposes. Presumably they mean PPS number for Ireland.
Have most people already provided that?
Yes, it's a legal requirement.
Are you sure that is still the case? I am aware of someone who joined in the last 12 months using their driving licence (they don't have a current passport).
Yeah spotted a request to TIN/PPS number. The Android app doesn't take alpha characters when entering it 🤦.
Ok working now... Pretty sure it wasn't earlier ☺️
I've just inputted my PPSN on an Android device & the alpha character was accepted.
I got asked for it today as well and it did accept the letter on Android app.
I think it's still the same here that only passport is OK for ID. But UK driving licence is excepted.
Edit to add picture.
Downloaded the app today and I can't set up an account. Phone, email, sms verification all not working
Anyone experience this before
My missus got the email on the 21st and had the Irish IBAN the same day.
I'm still waiting for mine
Got transferred to the Irish IBAN this morning. Wonder will there be teething issues like Bunq had with their Éire IBAN.
Still waiting to apply for a credit card and am still on the waiting list. Anyone actually got a physical credit card from them yet?
Same for a joint account :(
My credit union won't accept it as a payee because it doesn't recognize the BIC but I recall this happening when they switched to Lithuanian ibans too. I guess some systems will have to update to recognize them.
Just got in app notification saying I've 4 days to secure fee free benefits. Says I need to
Anybody else get this?
Did you receive an email, or were you notified via the app?
I got an email and also a push notification in the app also this morning.
Just an email, no push notifications as far as I know.
I received an email and entered my PPSN and it was accepted. Later in the day I got another email looking for Tax ID but when I click in the app there is a tile there looking for it but when I click it does nothing.
I had the same. It wasn't even that much later. Probably less than an hour. I just dismissed the tile and haven't had an issue since.
Can you block someone from continuously requesting payment? I don't know how they got my details or who this person is. What's customer care like to deal with?
Go to their profile, click their icon at the top right, click Block...
Thank you so much. I just done that. 5 times yesterday and 4 times so far today!
Report it as well. If someone is that persistent it is clearly not human error...
For the bank code REVOIE23 the address listed is
2 Dublin Landings, North Dock, Dublin 2, 4344903
Yeah, sending weirdo messages as well. I just didn't want the hassle of reporting it but I will. Strange one.
I just did same and got an email confirmation that my tax details had bee updated.
Revolut support told me this evening said I will have to open a new account as I haven't been using the service for a while
Do they charge for a physical debit card?
Yes,when I got mine.6 euro I think it was.Not sure if that postal charge
Got an email yesterday (29th) to tell me I've been migrated to an IE IBAN. Changed my bank details online where I could and have a few mandates printed off to post. Got an email this morning warning me to "Change your payment details or risk missing payments".
In the last 48 hours, I've had a rejected outbound revtag payment, a reverted Currys payment (and associated cashback reversal), and a declined direct debit. Couldn't be just coincidence. Thankfully, an incoming payment has come through. I'm waiting for a chat agent...
[UPDATES:]
I'm having the same issue with my credit union. Did you manage to find a solution.
My payment to my AIB Visa Card got bounced back, presumably because I was using the target account for International payments (from AIB pov) and now I should be using the target account for domestic payments, as set out in this post;

I’ve updated the payee details to use the account for domestic payments, and I’ve sent the payment again today. Let’s see how that goes.
It is an awful pain to have to go through this IBAN change for all direct debits, salary and other incoming payments (two credit unions).
