Gender Balance.

I can’t for the life of me understand why gender balance is a thing within Organisations, Councils, Companies, Positions etc

Why can’t these roles in society just be filled with the most suitable people based on Education, Experience, Skills, etc

This is the point. There should come a time when gender doesn't matter. At the moment, we are not there, but significant progress has been made.
