A rock and a sledge hammer would be a fitting end for him!!!
I fully understand that, but a reluctant soldier even forced towards a Ukrainian position remains a better scenario where they are killed than killing a Ukrainian defender. Even the best of us finding ourselves heading towards a defender will likely kill to protect ourselves..
It is horrendous that young lads that don’t want to be there need to be killed to protect Ukraine, but that is where Putin has put them.
Can't see it ending well for him,
He won't be long in Norway at that rate,I'm sure they will be more than happy to deport him back to the mother land
Cluster munitions aren't "banned"; their use is heavily restricted by the Convention on Cluster Munitions but only by signatory nations. Russia, Ukraine, and the US are not signatories.
In any event as with many matters of International Law it's typically only the smaller weaker countries (or the losers of military conflicts) who are ever held to account.
And unlike the one on display in Berlin, where pro Russian activists removed the Ukrainian flag, that will not be happening in Tallinn.
That's just south of Minsk so special forces elves or partisans would be my guess.
And with Ukrainians, Putin would have to clear them all out, because they would never accept Russian rule. If Putin thinks Chechnya and Afghanistan was bad, he's in for a big shock.
No , either we ignore or report, there's a thread on the feedback forum about it
It's also restricted mainly by countries which believe they won't ever have to fight a major war again. Much like the land mine (Ottawa) convention. Moral posturing is all well and good when you're confident that it won't be your soldiers or territory at risk.
Speaking of mines, that's one munition which I doubt the Russians have expended too many of. Whatever about the reputed lack of RPGs/ATGMs, a Bradley is just as vulnerable to a minefield as a BMP is. Part of the reason why counter-attacking is tricky.
Apparently Crimea is not having a quiet Sunday....
Not sure about the source on this one
More charm from the Russians:-
Is it just me, or are there less drive-by new-reg Putin bots hitting the the thread lately? Maybe they’re trying to cook up a new strategy.
Wow, you are worried by balance and discussion - your words ?
My post just called for a peace process to stop the waste of life on both sides, I am sorry that upsets you its just my thoughts as someone who cherishes human life. I want a good outcome for Ukraine and Ukrainians, and long term peace seems impossible without some sort of proactive peace process.
No mention of Russian war crimes and the total withdrawal of all Russian forces from occupied territories.
None .
So how can we have peace?
"You can't reason with a Bear when your head is in its mouth!"
Eh??? If there is a balance in the discussion that’s genuinely there, let it happen IMO.
Especially when it's a bear off its head with Cocaine
It's just you. The place has been full of Mudspud and his/her cronies for the last few days. The mods are slowly clearing things up
But their peace plans for ukraine see's ukraine loosing their sovereign territories, Russia given veto over Ukrainan polices and Ukraine stay neutral,
So what does Russia absolutely nothing,
Great jobs folks thats brought such balance to the table
Wonder what’s going on here.
An Irish citizen “accused of being a potential threat to Australia's national security” has sought “consular assistance” from the Irish embassy.
But here’s the interesting bit: it’s claimed the person in question was identified as a potential threat during an Australian security operation “targeting Russian intelligence officers working under diplomatic cover.”
She worked in the Dail,
There's a few posts further back today about it .

Cheers, went back on the thread a bit but didn’t spot it.
The UN is calling for a peace process.
India, France, China, The Gulf States, Hungry, Brazil, Turkey, Kazakhstan, too.
Not getting started with individuals like Henry Kissinger (I know like me he's too old to have an opinion).
But calling for a peace process in this thread is unacceptable ?
Push Russia back to the boarder with no peace process and then what, does it end there ?
Start a very visible peace process now, show the Russian people that there is another way out, and continue liberating Ukrainian land.
Have a read from the bottom of the page

China and Hungary say no more,
The french said Putin needs to be defeated first
It could be showing a Russian spy being captured. There is no lead up, no sound, no explanation. Basically it could be a lot of things.
Awwwwee
These "ordinary guys" were exactly that until they were mobilized into Putin's thieving, murderous and rapacious military machine, where the worst they had in them was brought out. If it was possible that Russian soldiers in Ukraine were given the choice to fight on or go home, 97%+ would dump their weapons and be back in Russia as fast as humanly possible. Why do you think that Putin has 3 ring's of attackers around Bakhmut? 1st ring are primary attackers ( willing or not) 2nd ring are to ensure that ring Nr 1 attacks , and finally ring Nr3 is there to make sure that ring Nr 2 does its job. That sure shows the confidence that the Russian Military Commanders have in the dedication of Russian Soldiers. The bastards in Bucha and elsewhere would be in the % that would chose remain and fight on.
Posts Putin apologism, repeats Kremlin propaganda, blames the West and suggests "peace" by rewarding Putin with Ukrainian land. Then complains of being the victim.
How do you reason with someone who lies all the time and waves the nuclear weapons threat around. Is ruthless and brutal to even his own and has said he want's to restore the USSR!
