Nobody gives a rats arse about the Orc narrative, we are a long way past that point. We just had a gutful of the Orc narrative straight out of the 'dickhead' himself, and there aren't too many people, in the west at least, who aren't just shaking their heads at the blatant fictions just spouted.

It makes sense for Ukraine to be the ones assisting as that limits spread and they likely have far more capable troops, at the moment. Ukraine has a moral right to take on Russian troops and deal will with them in a way Romania doesn't.

It would play into the Russian narrative too much. I strongly suspect Ukraine will leave Transnistria well alone. Romania should be stepping in and providing support to Moldova to protect against any Kremlin backed coup attempts.

transnistria supposedly has the biggest single ammunition stockpile of soviet ammo and shells outside of Russia. Would make sense for Ukraine to try and use it.
As I have said before, Ukraine should sort this out for Moldova, once and for all. There are only about 1000-1200 Russian troops in Transnistria, and I doubt they have seen combat in a long while, if ever. That's around a days tally of Orcs on the Eastern front.
Personally I hope Moldova does ask for help and this situation gets sorted, once and for all.
