I think we need to be looking outside of Nato for equipment, I still think the swedish (HiMars GLSDB )and Koreans are producing some of the best infantry fighting vehicles anywhere,they are getting some CVs90s from Saab one of the best off the shelf infantry vehicles anywhere, after that I'd be chasing the Korean Hanwha Defense K21 infantry fighting vehicle which is build to a higher standard than current nato IFVs, they also have the K2 Black panter tank which is up there with Challengers and Abrams or push the boat out and get the Hanwha Redback IFV built for the Australian military which exceeds anything Nato currently operate in the same role .

Punishment by itself may not work. But what might work is a strategy of 100% punishment, eg sanctions , starting off for an undefined period and as Russia starts to show an interest in playing fair - whatever that might be- there could be ‘more carrot and less stick’. Having said that Russia must ‘PAY’ for something it started - considering the enormous physical destruction, the deaths, rales and most especially the psychological state that the Ukr population that managed to survive. In this so-called modern age, what RU has done is totally unprecedented. I thought that such behaviour was a thing of the distant past but I was VERY wrong.

My comment was directed at the financial costs for reparations, as MudSpud tried to make out UKr were corrupt, I was countering so what's the problem, Russia will be paying. I don't in any way think UKr is as corrupt as MudSpud is making out, but I do think Russia will pay.
