... Wrong thread ...
Digital is usually more expensive. They do have a sale now and again and it's the same price as physical.
Also, with Nintendo switch online you can buy 2 digital games for 100 quid ... I think ... Ish ... Google it ...
With physical you have something you can transfer or sell. So, I'd never go digital for Nintendo first party.
Smyths 55€ or Amazon about the same for a physical copy I guess dunno about digital, never really seems to be on offer. Looking to buy a copy myself.
Has anyone seen this anywhere at a decent price? No preference on physical or digital.
Agree, well worth the price, especially if on discount. Really fun boss battle in it too.
The Champions Ballad is great fun. Much more fun the the trial of the sword, which I found tedious at times
Popped BOTW into my Wii U. Had a look at the save file. It's 5 and a half years since I played it. The main game is 100% complete in every regard. The last thing I did was complete the first DLC pack, Trial of the Sword. Never played the second pack, The Champion's Ballad. Wanted to save it and didn't want the game to be completely over. I ought to start and finish it someday. Maybe at the weekend.
Had a wee play of the cart just before posting to make sure its good.
Hadnt played in years. Nearly brought a tear to my eye seeing all the divine beast icons etc. and how much time I sank into it. Such a masterpiece of a game.
Pleasure doing business with you. 👍️
Could do that alright, I'll drop you a PM
I feel stupid buying it digitally a fair few years ago. I remember it well I was sick and in bed and said f**k it and just forked up the 60 or 65 euro price for it digitally.
CeX have gone especially **** on pricing this year as they get used to being the only game in town.
Yeah used is out of stock in every store. Doubt they'll get more used in now since they are closing down soon. Was gona say try cex but they are having a laugh:
Buying for 30 selling for 60!! 😳 Robbers. I'll sell you my BOTW cart no problems 😅 Hows 30 euro + postage?
Does BOTW ever be available preowned in Gamestop, went looking earlier and no copies available anywhere for discount? Have rarely used switch lying at home interested in taking BOTW for a spin.
It'll be all day and half the night for the next month. Think I was well over 200 hours by the end. Got the DLC too. I really hope TOTK is as good.
I started the game years ago and just stopped playing. Weapons breaking, raining while trying to climb a cliff.(I think there is a trick to climbing in the rain but I never knew about it). I once hung on to the side of a cliff in the game for at least 10 mins waiting for the rain to stop and would you know it never did. I really should go back to it as everyone who played it talks about how great it is. Admittedly I didn't get too far into it to give it a fair chance but sure I have and had other games to play. Lack of Xbox achievements could be another reason. Those Xbox execs knew what they were doing with achievements back on the Xbox 360 so much so steam and PS copied them.
I only started this a couple of weeks ago. Just sneaking into the office now to burn it down so I dont have to go to work tomorrow and can play this all day instead.

It’s very out of place but you can’t get it until after you’ve completed almost the entire game so you have to experience the “true” feeling before you get it for fun.
I think the Master Cycle kinda destoyed the whole breath of the wild rustic, back to nature feel for me.
It's so out of place in the environment it's ridiculous.
A long distance, maybe faster paraglider would have made more sense.
Looks like the new game will have more motorised vehicles.
But I also see a hot air balloon if I'm not mistaken.
And I’m done. Over 600 total hours spent with BOTW over multiple play throughs but my most recent (I won’t say final) play through is as complete as complete can be.
All there is to do now is tear through Hyrule on the Master Cycle Zero dressed as Tingle.
Down to the last 100 Korok seeds of my 100% Master Mode play. All armour, all upgraded to the max, full compendium, all mini bosses killed. Other than finding EVERY chest I don’t think there’s anything else.
DF are misinformed. Nintendo have rendered the launch trailer for BOTW (not the reveal trailer, the launch trailer with the release date) and trailers for Animal Crossing off Switch. Animal Crossing trailers have been rendered in 4K (or might have been 1440p) and downsized to 1080 for YouTube even.
Its exceedingly common for trailers to be rendered off native hardware. MS and Sony do this too.
Their “analysis” here is off the mark which is uncommon for them, but it’s more a casual conversation.
Digital Foundry covered the news about the BOTW2 delay and speculate on the trailer and whether it hints at a new Switch /Pro is releasing coinciding with game's release next year.
The relevant section starts at 22:37 and runs for a little under 6 minutes. I hope a new Switch does release alongside the game.
My kids still playing this. It must be the most relaxing, take your time, drop in, drop out action game ever.
Have dropped Elden Ring after 40 hours and started this again. The open world exploration was good in ER but its just so so much better in this. Combat isn't that frequent in Zelda either. Its everywhere in ER and such a slog as it goes on. There's plenty in didn't do in Zelda do happy to rediscover it all again.
Could say that about any game of the last 5 years tbh, I get bored and end up watching a Youtube summary of the end instead of playing it fully, compared to BotW where I happily put in 8 hour shifts until it was done, just pure pleasure to play compared to the grindfests out there today.
Playing Elden Ring makes me wish it was BotW
Five years on, Breath of the Wild’s open world is still unmatched
Zelda has loomed over the genre since it launched
And with such an amazing, solid foundation already in place, the sequel can only be better.
That's legitimately awesome. A perfect case of what they call "emergent gameplay" IIRC; you'd wonder how much was accidental by the developers and how much deliberate.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild players are still finding the most inventive solutions to everything
The more you know.
The possibilities within this game seems to know no bounds. Can't wait to see all the new tricks discovered in BOTW2.
