Works on Android for me.
showed an error right in the morning. IT support arrived at work and fixed the issue . All Ok now
Just worked for me.
Is it permitted to redeem 2 park run freebies in the one transaction?
Yep just done it now. Nuts and apple juice. Last week and this week.
Just tried it there and worked right away on my phone
Plastic
how do we qualify for this. can’t see any ref on my Lidl plus app.
maybe i’m not good enough tho
if you're referring to the Lidl own gift cards , available to purchase at the tills - hand it to cashier and they'll scan the barcode on the bottom - shopping value will be deducted from the card and remaining balance will be shown on the receipt (at the bottom)
scratch card with 15% off Cien range seems to be replaced with 15% off Mister Cioc range
There's your answer.
I think they're doing a monthly cycle of 5 scratchcards. Combination of % off, free item with min. spend and € off min spend. The next 4 cards should be new ones too (if I'm right lol)
If it wasn’t for the park run I think this thread would be dead, I can’t believe how quickly this app went to pot and the €10 off €50 is a distant memory too
It's not just the app. It's the shop too.
You would almost think that Lidl is in some sort of business trouble. They seem to be sacrificing the long term for short term gains.
But, I guess, only time will tell. We're not seeing it yet in the market share figures.
I've said it here a few times, but any time I go to Lidl lately, there are price increases every single time, and not just a few cents.
Supervalu and Aldi frequently are cheaper and of higher quality now. Imagine saying that 1-2 years ago.
It won't accept it until store opening time I've noticed.
discounts on products that were given away for free 4 months ago
Comparable baskets in Aldi and Lidl also saw increases. The Aldi basket of own-brand goods was 28pc more expensive last week compared with last year. A comparable basket in Lidl was 26pc more expensive.

It is still possible that Lidl and Aldi are doing well as people switch to them thinking they are still discounters. Like some other posters, I'm seeing better quality and value elsewhere to Lidl at least.
Its a complete con now. Free gifts gone and the weekly offers are worse and worse. Using the app is just giving them free data at this stage. There really isn't any incentive to use it anymore.
Scanned the app yesterday and got a receipt for a completely different transaction that I didn’t make. So didn't get the coupon discounts either.
Odd
This week, I used a €3 voucher from the app, free grapes using ParkRun (€2.50), 20% off fish, 15% off smoothie etc. Its not all doom and gloom.
I've noticed a decline in Lidl quality, such as less meat in ready meals and one of their cereals is nothing more than sawdust compacted into chocolate-coloured hoops.
The app is rubbish now, the first part was to hook people in with great offers, freebies and discounts, now it's only harvesting data.
For anyone considering not using it anymore, don't just remove the the app - request that all your collected data is deleted too - https://www.lidl.ie/information/compliance/data-protection/privacy-policy-lidl-app
Maybe they'll be marketing next year showing how they've lowered their own prices, it could be a long con.
Here’s the only thing the Lidl app is good for now
As always starts tomorrow
0.29- 0.65 over 100% increase ouch
Just checked and they were 39c this time last year
Hovis granary bread was 1.49 this time last year, now 2.20.
On the plus side my receipt tonight includes 20% off a whole load of stuff and 30% off bread rolls. No coupons activated, no discounts marked on shelves, everything has good dates. Mysterious!
😀
The way they've gone lately it looks like you've accidentally walked into a stocktake and discovered their profit margin.
I'd 22 items in total and only those ones were discounted, very odd.
I had something similar happen a couple of months ago. I had a few genuine 30% discount items in my trolley and I thought it might be the case that the person working the checkout locked on the 30% discount when she came to those items and forgot to switch if off again when she scanned the rest of the items in my trolley.
When looking at my receipt afterwards I saw that one item that should have been 30% discount wasn't, and another item I had bought four of had been scanned five times, so I hadn't underpaid by much after all.
They're even taking back free apostrophes now 😂Forgot to post this yesterday and already one has disappeared!
