If you let a dog steal a piece of your chicken he will come back when he is hungry again for more. If you kick him hard in the anus he will stay away
You've raised a pertinent issue there
Life is absolutely insignificant to Putin, compared to the grabbing of land
What exactly should the gardai be looking for, and under what grounds?
Zelensky's a coke fiend!! is the Russian version of the pro Ukrainian putin's's dying of hair faulure/is dead already and has been replaced by a mute Siberian called Yuri. Long running and daft and trotted out all too regularly. So not a shock to see it again. I missed it. 😁
The difference between the orcs and brave Ukrainians, these people are willing to fight for what is right.
Note the part too: the weapon that may prove most decisive in the country’s fight against Russia’s invasion is the humble 155-milimeter artillery shell It shows all this talk by Russians of wonder weapons and the like, is just that, talk. What Russia has/had are huge stockpiles of dumb shells and those are what has helped them take what they have taken. It'll also be what lagely decides the outcome. Though modern non Soviet type battle tanks in numbers would be extremely helfpul, if not decisive. Still "old school" but far better than anything Russia can field. The problem is numbers.
Do you really need to ask this question?
It's quite obvious the orc propaganda is being pushed by the putler regime.
We've seen Zelensky near the battles, at least one visit to Bakmut (which was madness frankly), and he arrived in Kherson not many hours after the Russian departure. Where's your man Putin been in comparison? Nowhere near anything like that.
Zelensky looks like crap, and I'm at all surprise by that. With the amount of stress he's been under this year, I'll be surprised if he'll retain any hair by the end of this, if the blood-pressure doesn't kill him first. This is a guy who seriously needs a holiday, which he and all of Ukraine will hopefully get a chance to do upon Russia being defeated.
Plus I wouldn't give them a square metre of Cork, and I say that as a Dub. 😁 I'd want to see them sent home in boxes or otherwise. As for his earlier comparison to us "giving up" the North, yeah, that went well... And if history is any judge Russia holding Donbas will result in similar if not worse than the Troubles ever were.
This is one question Pro Russians have no answer for: If so many Ukrainians want to be in Russia, why are the vast majority of insurgent attacks behind Russian lines aimed at Russians and their collaborators? Where are the insurgents behind Ukrainian lines? tumbleweed That should tell even a casual observer what's going on.
In the very early days of a kinda "phony war" we saw Ukrianians and Russian interactions that were a lot less fraught, even jocular. Like the time the Russian armoured crew were stopped at the side of the road and a Ukrainian bloke in a car stopped and asked if they wanted a lift back to Russia, with sniggering all around. Those days are long gone, after what they and their nation has suffered at the hands of their invaders Ukrainians have decided Mother Russia is a hard NO. That won't go away for generations. That will continue in every part of Ukraine they end up holding and if they deal with it in the usual Russian manner will breed more and more resistence.
orc propaganda should never be allowed to gain a toehold.
Just look at America with Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk all spewing out the kremlin party line.
Announced today: UK will be training Ukrainians in on fighter jets
I listened to one of the military experts, on the radio, who thought that Tornadoes would be a good choice for Ukraine.
It was also announced that they'd be given "longer range capabilities". Storm shadows to Ukraine?
Fair play to the Brits on the aid to Ukraine. They've really been leading the charge.
To be fair, they got the ball rolling on the tanks. Might well do the same for the jets.
Great news, I'm glad they are following my suggestion ;-)
As an absolute minimum, the US should be traiinig Ukrainians on F-15s, Gay Eagles, ATACAMS and so on, just in case the Orcs don't oblige with the idea of drawing this out for years thus providing the time and breathing space Biden's current strategy - if you can call it that - requires. Training is not escalatory, but it is excellent insurance.
Boris has been spot on, give them the stuff now instead of waiting for the realisation that they needed it yesterday.
As someone pointed out, The Uk doesn't have F-16s, so does this mean that they are actually going to give/lend them Typhoons? Wow! if that's the case.
Always ahead of the curve.
It's a possibility yes ,
Looks to be just training on NATO fighter jets.
Could just be training recruits to fly as Ukraine probably doesn't have the capacity to train new recruits.
Get the basic flight theory and flying, then some combat training so when Ukraine transition to NATO fighter jets it's not a full training needed?
They will never not be Gay Eagles as long as I live now :D
They are looking at the longer term vs sending jets they don't have to send ,they probably will qualify on the hawk trainers and simulators
What law has been broken that the Gardai would need to investigate?
In other news, Bakhmut situation not looking good. Surprised they havent retreated from the city at this stage, with no evidence of a counter offensive it looks inevitable that any UA army left in Bakhmut will be encircled and captured.
Surely would make far more sense to retreat to another line of defensive than risk losing a lot more men
So now with the help of hindsight the 300k mobilised including 50k or so prisoners have been put to work from November to now and continue to do so. At the rate they're dying and getting wounded they won't last many more months.
So this talk of the second wave of mobilisation involving an army of 500k this time. I'm assuming this isn't 500k for the frontlines? Does this include the extra man power needed for logistics? So 200k frontline soldier's 300k supplying them?
I've no idea just trying to get my head around the number's? Likewise the initial 300k was that let's say 130k frontline soldier's and another 270k on logistics? Any estimates out there from people in the know?
Careful with that axe Roger - Roger Waters Asked by Russia to Speak at UN About Ukraine Arms – Rolling Stone
I'd say that the Hawk 2 would be a very useful multipurpose jet for Ukraine. Training, ground attack and low level fighter/interceptor.
More threats from putin if the UK sends jets to Ukraine
As yes, threatening the British, that generally goes well in History
Another "useful idiot" for Putin.
..
It was always the case ,
Nothing new there, putin sent the Buk we've known it for 9 years
Russians are so fcking stupid. They expose their fears and weaknesses with all this deflection and lies. They just admitted they're terrified of the Poles here.
I wouldn't be so thankful you've been given rope that's all.
