It's believed the Russians are already pushing in this assault, the Ukrainians are using existing tanks and equipment to fight them.
But have they been sent? Have they arrived? Where have they arrived? Who is trained to operate them? I read that it takes 22 weeks to train on how to operate an Abrams tank, and that's just operate, not effectively work the thing in a field theatre. I also read that for every 1 hour of operation, an Abrams needs 3 hours of maintenance. These things need massive backup. A serious crew of well trained operators....maybe four or five, Then a crew of probably 30 with specialised equipment to take it apart and get it battleready again. People seem to think that a few hundred tanks can just be dropped off and a few lads can jump in and go crazy with them. How long does is take to train a guy with a Cessna? So let's drop off F-16s and the Ukrainians will just hop in like Arnie and rock it.
I don't see these tanks anywhere? There are cameras everywhere. Press, everywhere, drones and satellites, EVERYWHERE. We see footage of Orcs getting shredded, where is the footage of 550+ battle tanks heading east?

Some Canadian Leopard 2's have arrived in Poland but most of the newer tanks haven't arrived yet as far as I know. Yup, they need to be prepped, Ukrainians need to be trained in on them, maintenance crews need to be trained, supplies and replacement parts have to be sent - it's a big logistical thing (It's possible some of the Leopard 1's won't be ready until next year)
Same with all the equipment they've already received, which includes around 300 foreign tanks already delivered, many in use on the battlefield, mainly T72's (Keep in mind that Russia has so far been Ukraine's biggest supplier, over 500 main battle tanks have been captured from the Russians)
It's a flow, a process, stuff is constantly arriving, Ukrainians are constantly being trained. It takes time for foreign equipment to actually go from announcement to fully prepared on the battlefield. Some shorter, some longer.
What's with the Polish Ukrainian fighting. Heard of trouble locally between the 2, nearly always Ukrainian initiated.
