“There’s a little Black woman walking, spraying stuff on the sidewalks and trees,” the caller told police, CNN reported. “I don’t know what the hell she’s doing. Scares me, though.”
She is lucky the cops didn't execute her.
She'll still grow up believing it's the greatest country on Earth though
Took you a while to hear about this Ireland.
The world is not as obsessed with your failing state of a country as you think it is.
Spraying soapy water while Black. Very sus.
Wow I just said it took a while. Tell me personally how you really feel, like I'm the reason it's 'failing' or something. 😶 I've been highlighting the problems of institutional racism forever. Your post is more bigotry.
I've a great idea for a new NGO based in Ireland and paid for by the Irish tax payer.
One that highlights institutional racism in the USA.
Could have ads on RTE about it and everything.
Exciting eh.
Someone forced you to read the clearly marked thread?
I read The Guardian article as well.
Bit surprised they are supporting the killing of lanterflies, thought insects were an endangered species.
We must teach our youth how important insects are to the ecosystem instead of going around zapping them willy nilly, which to be fair would look a bit suspicious If I'd come across it.
And anyway, she was reported to the police, it's not like she was assaulted by the person/s who reported her.
Is everyone in the USA paranoid?
Or is it just a clear case of racial profiling?
I know if a small child was walking around spraying trees in the vast majority of other countries in the world, no-one would be calling the police on them. Why couldn't the adult have walked up to the child and asked them what they were doing?
They're invasive to North America. It's been transmitted out of Vietnam/China region.
They are not an important part of the US ecosystem, their presence here is modern.
