So if you can't find a thread, ask here about it, and others can paste a link if a thread already exists. If there is no thread, responses can be gauged to see if it's worth starting a new thread.

Following the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma who steal, rob and save in order to get to the exotic, mysterious and faraway land of California.

Couldn't see a thread on this. I saw this recommended on a few "best of tv" lists for the past two years and only checked it out recently. On the face of it, it's a comedy, but there's a depth there with people dealing with a traumatic death and loss in the past. The performances and dialogue feel natural, and the heavier moments are dealt with very well. I would highly recommend it.

Surgeons. At the Edge of Life on BBC2, watched the first episode during the week and it was unreal, similar to 24 Hours in A &E but only dealing with the worse cases, it's unbelievable what they were doing medically, think EP1 is repeated tonight.

Highly recommend Hunters. Excellent. I know reviews are mixed but I really enjoyed it and it doesn't drag out for 8 million episodes or season either.

Ginny and Georgia is somewhat hard to recommend without knowing your tastes. It has a lot of teen drama and adult drama in the same show and the teen drama can get a bit annoying. Its a bit like Gilmore Girls, if they were poor and somewhat unsympathetic but the mother in the show is quite funny.

Watched Why Didn't they Ask Evans? An old fashioned Agatha Christie who dunnit. Very enjoyable easy watch. It's on Britbox and less legitimate streaming platforms.

I might be old fashioned but I hate the idea of being able to watch any episode in many order and it will work.

I don't want to be in control of the story, it seems utterly pointless to me aswel, surely harder to make a tv show this way, so for now I'm refusing to watch it.

There's plenty shows for me out there that are in series :)
