Dairy produces alot more slurry all year around. The cost of the contractor was never an issue for me. Actually, I still owe him for 3 years of bills going back as far as 2019. Sick of begging for a bill off of him.
If I do not get a bill I give a check for 80% of the previous years costs to keep the accounts sort of straight
I keep sending texts over bills and ringing every 4-6 weeks. Pain but it works. Told a problem lad o ce not to come looking for it all together it runs into a second year

Yeah tractor has load sensing hydraulics or power beyond as it’s referred to- the agitator Doesn’t have a load sensing block so it can only be used on constant pump- no matter really you just need to slow down the oil flow to about 20l/m so you won’t hear the oil

Try the main dealer. Price might not be too bad. Had to replace one in ours and it was €90 I think on the bill for the glass and fitting too.
If you could find out if any other make/model uses the same glass then you have more options. Try Conatys in Meath too.
Conatys parts are spurious and afair claas are one of the manufacturers that don't have spurious parts available.

There's a fairly sophisticated crowd robbing gear around the border too. I know a lad who had his tractor stolen in meath few years ago n told by the cops it'd be in some yard up around there.
It had a very distinctive exhaust on it n he spent a few days driving around and copped it poking up. Rang the cops with the details n was told to leave it to fbd as these lads were lethal. He bit his lip n let it go.
If it was some cops oul fellas tractor I'd say the story would have a bit different ending!
There was a guy in Longford a few years ago and he had a IW livestock trailer, quad, quad sprayer, strimmer, chain saw and other small stuff stolen from his yard. He reported the theft to AGS at the time. A few weeks later his quad was for sale on DD, he phoned the ad and apparently the quad was for viewing on the old N2 between Ashbourne and Finglas - if anyone knows that stretch of the road they know what I mean. Apparently he phoned AGS and they told him not to get involved as they would deal with it so he waited a few days. When he contacted AGS they couldn't give him any update so he and three neighbours decided to go and view the quad. When they arrived at the yard they were shown the quad and as soon as he said that it was his stolen quad a posse of heavies appeared out of various sheds. They told him that if he wanted it back he could pay a sum of money but if he brought AGS onto them then they knew where he lived and they could inflict more damage to his farm/property.
If you ever need anything for a landcruiser, Hilux etc it's probably the biggest breakers yard in the country for them. It's laughable that it's still on the go. Have heard there's a few palms get greased n they can belt away.

They are merly bureaucratic administrator's doing the job they are paid & instructed to do.
I read on the interweb that CAB/Revenue had raided a yard in that general location where stolen 4wd's where chopped up for sale as well as another yard in the same area that had multiple stolen catalytic converters. I've heard nothing since about the case but that is maybe due to to the backlog in processing cases due to Covid 🤔
Law only applies to the small people and the unconnected in this country it looks like.
I'm looking to add a seed box to my chain harrow for more efficient seed broadcasting. APV seeders seem to be the most popular. I don't think it would be to complicated to add one on and to get it wired up.
I was also wondering is it such a thing for a person to add an air seeder to a chain harrow? I've seen it on tine harrows alright but was wondering has anyone seen it on a chain one?
You wonder about those raffle going on as well, is it another outlet for stolen gear. Don't have a clue how they work and given the publicity they need to sell tickets it may be fine.
