Tubs and Duffy have averaged 50+ days off a year for the last number of years. Duffy has topped 60+ days in some years.

Not sure if they went on holidays per se, just know they took those days off.
Joe calls holidays "break-een"(s), and has been know to ask callers "was that your main holiday so to speak?"; i.e. he goes on so many he ranks and labels them.
Tubs like to tag "holidays" onto the back of "work" 🙄 trips - handy to have the flight paid for isn't it? And knowing RTE, they/WE probably paid for the hotel and meals too.
Presumably some TV work on days Tubridy and Duffy are missing from the radio. Doesn’t apply for Darcy any more. Would doubt too many of the big names will re-appear this week.
Meanwhile.......yesterdays show included gems such as 'those with houses should pay property tax to subsidise those who don't ' ,
'Tenants rights should trump a landlords rights ' and last but not least ' rural dwellers should be driving electric cars , they are cheaper '.....
