Been dying for this TV to drop to an affordable price, gets amazing reviews and finally Richer Sounds have a great deal on it.

It's a good bit cheaper if you choose the STG price, worked out at a little over €1,500
Any idea what this was around Black Friday (last years model of course)? Was planning to wait til then but this looks a pretty good offer but can’t remember what it was last year.
Summertime is a good time to get previous year TV models discounted. Keep an eye out during the upcoming bank holiday(s).
Have this tv and it’s epic.
Worth every penny.
I'm told that the 2022 model actually ditches a couple of features that people seemed to love from the C1 (could be hearsay!) so this seems even more of a bargain to me
Excellent price , having had an oled the screen is well worth it
Just finished setting this up. Gosh, was the first thing that sprang to mind. Last TV was a pretty decent Samsung, but this is leagues ahead.
Mate texted me that it's €2,200 in Curry's today, this Richer Sounds deal is fairly nifty!
Wait until the screen beds in.
It really is a great set.
Ah balls, missed it and in the market for a good tv
not sure how much this was when op posted. but €1,529 now delivered when you use LGTV10€
Alternatively 1,600 in Powercity
That's seriously cheap. Thinking about getting another. Won't get better for the price, especially with the 6 year warranty.
Picked up one a few weeks ago in Power City for 1600. Worth every penny!
A quick tip re Powercity. If oder I online butthn cancel or back out at last stage they will call you and try to convince you to proceed
You quotcthe cheaper price you found on richersounds and they will price match
Pulled the trigger on the LG C1 77 inch this morning. In the market a long time & i think this is a good deal. A lot of TV for that price. I didnt even check what warranty I get which is risky & not sure what after sale service Arnotts provide. Fingers crossed all goes well.
PS:It was free delivery this morning which I got but I see they have added delivery now
There' no risk with the warranty. It's LG and you're protected by Irish consumer law.
Is it just me but I never let a warranty influence my buying decisions and also never buy extended warranties.
I think it's 5 years warranty with LG OLEDs
That's a nice price, any thoughts on this vs the C2? Is it missing much?
I usually don't be but when you spending over 2k on a TV......
believe LG only have 1 year standard warranty, except certain models that offer longer

C2 has a brighter panel I believe. I have a 55 inch C1 already & its an incredible TV so thats why i was happy to go with the C1 again
The UK is not in the EU. EU consumer law trumps manufacturer warranty, and Irish consumer law is even stronger, albeit badly written.
indeed, however LG lumps Ireland and UK for their website. I checked this in a local shop per the literature they had on hand for us here in Ireland, it stated 1 year warranty for an LG C1
Its what put me off LG, in favor of another brand offering 5 year as standard including parts and labor, I agree Irish/EU law is there, however its simply easier when the manufacturer offers 5 year without quibble when something goes wrong
That 77" C1 is a fantastic deal. I almost bit except I'm not sure if it would be too big for the room.
Instead I went for a slightly smaller QD OLED. Richer Sounds have the very well reviewed Samsung 65" S95B for £1399. There's a £7 delivery charge to the Republic of Ireland but no customs. You can also get 3% back on Revolut, giving a final price of £1364 delivered to the door, which is about €1587.
It comes with a 6 year warranty and the cheapest equivalent I can see in Ireland is €2300.

I bought a C1 in Harvey Normans less than 12 months ago and it came with 5 year warranty, a friend also bought a C1 in Curry's a few months after me and that was also covered for 5 years
how do you get the 3% back on revolut?
thanks
I ordered a 55” C2 to replace my 2017 LG Oled…Ordered through RicherSounds; I’d been monitoring prices over the past 2 weeks - DID/PowerCity/Harvey Norman all stayed at €1399 throughout, including today ‘Black Friday’…During that time RicherSounds’ price gradually dropped until it was finally £220 cheaper today (working out at approx €1138).
A piece on RTE news earlier regarding Black Friday “retailers are encouraging people to buy local”…not when you’re taking the píss thanks.
Go into the Revolut App. Press Hub down at the bottom (to the right of Home and Transfer). Scroll down to the Lifestyle section where the icons are yellow. Select Shops. You can then search for Richersounds.
Once selected it'll redirect you to the Richersounds website. If you buy during that browsing session, you'll get a near immediate payback of 3% to your Revolut account.
This also works for Amazon, through the Amazon link, and a host of other stores.
Yeah, I'm a convert to RicherSounds on both price and service.
Having said that I've had good experiences with the Soundstore over the years and I'd use them if they were competitive on price.
I was on the verge of buying the C1 77 inch from richer sounds on Thursday but they told me that they would not deliver. In store only. They gave no reason. Disappointing as I have spent a lot of money there the last 2 years. Bought a 55 inch C1 last November which they delivered to me.
In the end glad I waited as got €350 further off by doing so.
Where did u buy it from?? In market for Lg c1.
Out of stock
